Күн бұрынTepoztlan is a stunning Pueblo Magico located in Morelos Mexico. Tepoztlan Morelos is located just an hour and a half south of Mexico City and makes for a perfect day trip or weekend getaway.
In this Mexico Vlog we take you out in Tepoztlan and show you what to do in Tepoztlan. We start in the zocalo, then head to the market where we eat some delicious food, then stroll through the weekend open-air market before grabbing a mojito - a must do when you’re in Tepoztlan! We then try to climb El Tepozteco to see the Tepoztlan pyramid, but unfortunately couldn’t because it is closed so instead we opted to do an ATV Tour with Tepoztlan Adventures! We end the video trying some famous Tepoznieves in the plaza.

A quick fun fact. Any town or village from Mexico that ends with "TLAN" means "among of", "place of". So the the first part of the name of any town/village is always diff(referring to something).

I spent a week in Tepoztlan in April, just loved it. Even did a temazcal, highly recommend! It is now one of the top contenders on our retirement in Mexico list. Its proximity to CDMX is convenient yet you get the small town atmosphere. Such beautiful scenery. Yes, pity about the hike, same thing when I was there...

WOW-WHAT A WICKED COOL PUEBLO... THAT MOUNTAIN WAS ABSOLUTELY KILLER... I REMEMBER WHEN WE WENT TO EUREKA IN CHIHUAHUA. A SMALL TOWN AT THE BOTTOM OF COPPER CANYON OR ( LOS BRANKAS DE COBRE ) WE DESCENDED AT NIGHT, BUT WHEN I WALKED OUT OF THE HOTEL IN THE MORNIN, I SAID HOW THE HELL DID WE GET HERE. YOU LITERALLY GO FROM PINES TO DESERT AND THE VIEW FROM BOTH ENDS IS SPECTACULAR... HOPE ALL IS WELL WITH YOU BOTH. HOPE YOU GIVE ME A HEADS-UP WHEN YOU WANNA VISIT CREEL. Your videos are so good and informative plus it looks like you're having a great time! In terms of Pueblos Mágicos I'd recommend Valle de Bravo, El Oro and Malinalco all in Estado de México they're different, beautiful and full of culture and just 1.5 hours away from CDMX

This is Paul.... and Gloria in Oaxaca. What a great video. After watching it together, Gloria said to me that we've got to go to Tepoztlán in late October from Cholula, Puebla. I have a reunion every year in Cholula. After that we can head to Tepoztlán for a few days. It's about a 2-hour trip from Cholula. We don't have a car so we'll have to bus it. We're going to take you up on your restaurant recommendations too.

Oddly enough this reminds me of Quebec! The cobblestone, narrow streets and the markets. Also, omg those mountains are so beautiful! And really appreciate the maps that you provide with walking distance. It makes everything seem more attainable. Sometimes with travel it's easy to be like, "oof I don't know how to get started", but you guys make me feel like we could book flights today and have the same day!!

Tepoztlán is one of my favorite places in México. It´s a shame Cerro del Tepozteco it´s still closed, meditate up there it´s a magical experience, that place has a unique energy, that´s why all the UFO activity. Keep up the great videos!

Oh there are many options without spice - so that wouldn’t be a problem at all. And they have tons of meat so no worries there. You just tell them no picante. 😊

I don’t know about other viewers, but I would love to hear how you travel from destination to destination. I know you have mentioned this in some of your previous videos, but maybe consider providing that info on future destinations🤔🙏🏼 You wouldn’t need to detail every step of the journey, but maybe just mentioning if you took the bus or used private transport and how much it cost you. I think this would give your viewers an idea of how easy (or maybe how involved 😯) it is to get from place to place …… Happy travels 😘

Hey Yolie! Thank you! Yes sometimes we include it and sometimes not - it’s just if we remember to or not. 😃 It’s so easy to get here from Cuernavaca though - 40 minute Uber ride $12. Or you can take a local bus. Will try to do more in the future!

From the southern bus terminal in Mexico City, Taxqueña, there are direct buses to Tepoz frequently throughout the day. MXN$155, 1 hr 10 min.

Great spot, I spent a day in Tepoztlán 18 years ago and just loved it! The market and zocalo are super cool and you can feel the Energy in the area. My only regret was not climbing the mountain to see El Tepozteco, hope to get back there in a couple of years, hope they reopen it soon. Heidi, thanks for mentioning availability of baños, I too have WSB (worlds smallest bladder🤣). Love y'all ❤️❤️❤️❤️☮️❤️❤️😎

Oh, guys! We were between travelling to Puebla or just this Pueblo mágico (we are leaving Puerto escondido this week), so this video is super helpful! and to see you it's always a pleasure. Now we saw the forecast and it promises constant rains so we are even thinking about Guanajuato region, which seems to have less rain the coming days. Hope you keep enjoying and we will see more of your videos for inspiration! Ceci

Hey Ceci! So the forecast says rain .. and it does rain in the afternoon a bit and maybe at night but that’s all. It’s been nice during the days! So .. don’t let that scare you off so much. Our app has said rain everyday all day and it’s been wrong everyday. But also saying that.. we haven’t been here at this time so maybe it will start raining more I’m not sure! Sorry we aren’t more of a help!

I have booked already some airbnbs in the region of Puebla so it would be a pity to continue loosing money (we lost the month we had paid in Mazunte, the day before the hurcane). Then I guess we will stick with the plan, it's so difficult to know how weather will be :) I heard Puebla has some beautiful nature and many Pueblos mágicos :) are you enjoying Morales state?=) is it nice? You help many people!! what a beautiful mission!

Tepoztlan seems like such a beautiful city. And the Mexican hospitality and food always seems to amazing and impressive. I always get so hungry watching your videos. The ATV-ing looked pretty fun, maybe too adventurous for me though 😂
