There is a special merchant only in velika that stands behind the statue in the main square where everyone stands. He should sell a small head which will balance out. If it's not there anymore your out of luck then. I know they like taking items in and out of that merchants options pretty regularly for some reason.

There is an item called a revival fruit that I believe you can purchase from crafting merchants unless they moved them that can reset your crafting progress if you wish to change your speciality
