Tera Online turned out to be a very enjoyable MMORPG with an unusual non-target combat. It is a pity that I was not able to play it at the start, back in 2015.

I used to play Tera so much! A whole summer with 60 other people PvPing when the alliance patch dropped. I still think about it almost 10 years later. It was the best game ever

I recently came back to this game and started over. It’s graphics and gameplay are solid and give you a play style that works for everyone. It does have a few glitches however. In Bastion of Lok there is a quest to plant bombs and destroy weapon crates but the bomb just disappears instead of going off. For the most part it is very playable and fun. Play the story or team up and you will max your level in no time. Don’t hesitate to create new characters if you don’t feel the one you started is working. You can have multiple characters and the more of them you max out the more you’ll be allowed to have at once

TERA was an awsome game, and you could play it with an XBOX 360 controler. At the time i was able to participate in the beta launch. Played the game for over 5 years and loved every bit of it. The community was very helpfull, and you could always find someone to help out with the multiplayer dungeons.

Tera didn't have the most bells and whistles other MMO's have nor were the devs good at supporting the game and it's community. However, Tera had one of the strongest core gameplay designed into it out of any MMO. I still play today on Menma and still have fun getting better at each class. No matter how many times I quit I always find myself looking for a game that could match a little bit of what Tera did for me, get frustrated finding out there's nothing out there like that and eventually coming back.

i hate how they race locked the best classes to girls and little girls. i wanted to play as an Aman reaper but the game locked the class to a race where only fat guys that live in basements and possibly have a huge collection of CP likes.

@@Myhok i fucking can't stand it, the character's race keeps moaning every 3 seconds. a fucking aman brawler or a baraka brawler looks so badass in my head but instead the fucking devs locked the brawler to female only. i don't play mmo's to see tits and ass, if i wanted to do that, i'd open up pornhub

@@Myhok i tried playing reaper for a while when i unlocked the class but i just can't stand it, the character just keeps moaning every time she attacks. Literally cringe inducing. Went back to my baraka lancer afterwards and deleted my reaper

Been playing on the official console server. Really reminds me of the old Korean MMOs but the combat system feels like a console game. The leveling grind is also missing. Downside is that they made all the content before max level super easy, which is basically a ~6 hour (expansive and fun) tutorial until the end game.

I used to play this on Xbox, now I'm on ps5. I logged on for the first time and got a max level boost. I used it and now I'm confused as shit

@@prosto.patrykI play console and it's still very much active. PC servers were shut down a while ago but, to my understanding, there are still fairly popular private servers

I played this game for about 2 weeks years after it released. I always thought it had too many buttons for a Action MMORPG(I know you could link or chain). That and it had the usual monetization Garbage BUT I was really really surprised it shutdown. How is Tera gone but Revelation and Aura Kingdom are still here? The Industry wants me to believe that Tera is bad enough to be shutdown with all the truly trash MMORPGs still hanging around….

@@malterek It's hard the first time your favorite MMO goes off. It's nice when some of them continue on private servers like City of heroes, and sounds like Tera did it, too. I wish more companies would intentionally release it to fans as long as we don't profit off the private servers.

you were never supposed to use all the skills. for example meta for ninja was only 2 skills plus some auto attack and your ult. some people chain more for ease of use or attack speed builds but yeah only 2 or 3 skills were really necessary. but playing off meta is way more fun even if people were trying to kick you from dungeons for doing so.

I played Tera in 2014 to the end and let me tell you, the game had nothing but amazing things to say about it. Management really wanted players to grind or pay at the end and that was the end of Tera.

Like, lets not even lie to ourselves here, the only reason they're race locked to little girls is because its targeting the majority of people who plays mmo, which are people who like hearing their character moan every single time they attack. Also, aren't the elin race supposed to be ancient beings with the forms of little girls? That just proves my point that they created that race for the "special bacon grease people"

The voice is AI but the script is not so I don't mind. Also give him a break; he seems to not be native speaker (based on the game language) so maybe this AI voice is easier for the creator and us.
