But once he realized Artem couldn't really hurt him he should've let his hands go and get him out of there. He's too timid and doesn't have that killer instinct. I have one guess as to why he's timid. He's been cracked before in sparring and is aware that he doesn't have the best chin. So when he's in the ring he's too worried about getting countered and knocked down/knocked out which would be embarrassing. I mean sometimes in boxing you have to take a shot to land the right ones. If he's scared to get hit he better quit calling tank out because tank will land and it's going to be brutal.

I think Crawford and Ward, have given Shakur, way to much credit for his boxing abilities before he has even proven himself as a professional, and now that credit has gone to his head.. no one can even talk to the man who acts like a kid, and why does he need them in his ear so much?, this is part of the reason he want respect his grandfather/coaches advice in the corner... Watch that knockout sequence, tank plants his left leg in a position to stop frank from being able to circle out of that corner and then he put him to sleep.

Shakur reminds me of myself when I crossed over to MMA from college wrestling. He’s so good at one thing and can win with his mind that he plays it extremely safe when he fights. He will always win with his method however he won’t draw crowds because he’s not entertaining in a sports that’s for entertainment.

I don’t know how old you guys are but I remember on two occasions where Floyd had words with Big Floyd and Uncle Rodger before. it was doing the Miguel Coto fight and I cant remember the second one I think it was Ricky Hatton if I’m not mistaken. It happens to all the fighters it’s a learning process that’s all . Tank had to be sent to Kevin Cuttingham to get him disciplined on how to eat because he was eating McDonald’s two to three times a day Calvin Ford couldn’t stop him couldn’t tell him what to do with his diet so Floyd took him down there with Kevin Cunningham, in Florida and got his eaten habits together, every fight to go through something with a trainer just so happened to see Shakur live that’s all
