The way I see it, Terminator was designed to be a mass production model and win wars through sheer numbers. Robocop was designed as a one man army.

The Terminator models were infiltrator units, not their mass production front liners. Those were the Hunter Killers. The reason we see the 800s fighting in Terminator 2 without skin is the humans are attacking Skynet's defense grid and Skynet sent everything it had at them in a losing effort, hence sending back the two terminators in time..

With Robocop that accuracy and reaction time cements his W, but like with the comic, it’ll be mid-diff, he’s gonna take major damage. Only ways he’d lose is in CQC and weaponry as those beam rifles are no joke.

Johnnie’s issue in the movies is he’s got no real experience with hellish creatures. Only humans. When he fights supernatural creatures he has to rely on the penance stare to win.

Necromorph Moon VS Tyranid Fleet Leviathan. Think it would be a cool match up. You might have to go digging up some lore about the Moon Necro, but I think it might be an interesting match up. Or a Necromorph Hivemind VS the Gravemind.

You mean a brethren moon? Bro how the hell is a giant meatball supposed to fight against a Tyranid Ancient one? Brethren moons have no offensive capabilities they rely on the Psyionic infection of the Markers to convert Sentients into Necroflesh, Tyranids are protected from all Psyionic by the shadow in the warp and most importantly are not technically sentient since they are a hive mind. Never the less this is all a mute point since a Tyranid ancient one can bite a Gloriana Battleship in half, that's a 15 kilometer long 6 kilometer wide warship with with Ceramite armour 1.5 kilometers thick, that means that it bit through 3 kilometers of Ceramite Wich is about 10 times tougher than the Titanium 3 sandwiched with Depleted uranium plates in US Tanks, which it's self is about 2.5 times tougher than the armored steel used in WW2 US battleships, while it it's self is protected in several kilometers worth of Chitin That's even tougher than Ceramite, hell some areas over it's vital zones are progressively harder and eventually get as tough as Custodes Auramite in the last foot or so. In other words a Tyranid ancient one can bite through the equivalent of 75 kilometers of battleship grade Armoured steel. In a battle between an Ancient one and a brethren moon the ancient one would immediately disable it's tentacles with Acid then open it's maw and unleash it's Tyranid swarm on it To prepare it for Bio reclamation and consumption. It would be no different from our regular Tyranid invasion, except that instead of it only being the very surface of the planet or the moon that is covered in bio mass it's the entire thing, it would be an entire moon of biomass, enough mass to fuel an entire fleet for a good while.

@@anarchyandempires5452, Shadow in the Warp works through the Warp (obviously enough) and basically DDoS most psykers due to enormous psychic activity, but doesn't provide any actual immunity or resistance to Warp-powers like Pariah's aura does. Brethren Moons though do not use Warp anyway, so Shadow doesn't affect them or their abilities. There is no data how actually durable ceramite is. Ancient One can be defeated in BFG2 using standard Imperial Navy assets, so its not that much of a threat. Also, Brethren Moons can bite too and their flesh is highly contagious, necromorhing any creature that consumes it.

You forgot to mention that the T-800 can tank 40mm grenade launcher shells, and an oil tanker truck exploding at point blank range. EDIT: I don't think robocop can tank the plasma rifle shots the damn thing is a portable anti-tank weapon and we know that a good hit from a cobra assault cannon can mess up robocop. Also the projectile speed of the plasma rifle has been calced at nearly high hypersonic speed soo robocop isn't gonna be able to dodge them. Also the T-800 isn't made of titanium it's made of hyperalloy which is better

But then you can explode one with a pipe-bomb if you place that in his skeleton. Sure, the plasma gun seems like it could beat robo-cop, but in a scenario where Terminator goes back to the past and Robo-cop has only his Auto-9, Robocop should come on top.

Ima say this, plasma is hot, very hot as in you will die from a glancing shot hot, and metal like titanium, would probably not be able to handle such heat, plus titanium can catch fire, yes it can catch ablaze, look it up

I think it'd be cool to see more weird examples like "The Lich" being brought up. There's a lot of more "Force of nature" type weirdos out there like the old gods of fear and hunger, or any aleph level abnormality from Lobotomy corp and it's whole deal. it'd be a stop but "Nothing there" and "The thing" from, well, "The thing" would be a thematically similar match up. I'm sure there's other body snatchers better suited for that fight though.

As with most versus videos, it all depends on the scenario and what versions of the character you use. Different versions of Robocop have different powers (as in some media ignores the 2nd and 3rd movies). Also, Terminator is literally retconned in universe by time travel. The one in the 3rd movie is a newer variant with a nuclear power cell, but Salvation goes back and changes it to the standard t-800 model having the nuclear cell. In all scenarios with the jetpack and arm cannon, Murphy wins, but thats no fun, haha. I like to state which characters Im using and which version. Then, I put them in a boxing ring, a basketball court, and a full football stadium, parking lot included. I give the characters a percentage of how many times they'll win in each. Great video though. Short and sweet.

Well I always am of a mind to err towards grounded characters and away from scaling chains since I think powerscalers as people are 9/10 times indescribably stupid about how they do it. goji-center just yesterday came out swinging with a straight face that Kratos's fighting is APing at the scope of multiple universes but that's well off topic. I've got rattling around with a bit of an obnoxiously over complicated match(?) more like thought experiment having multiple planting conquering swarms/infections placed on a planet from scratch and seeing what happens, like, a zerg hive here, a BETA nest there, some Starship trooper bugs there etc, ect. fill in some blanks alternatively for a less obnoxiously formatless suggestion...Simple 1v1 Dragon battle, Tiamat (D&D) Vs Nicol Bolas (MtG) >video lengths We viewers are not the ones actually making this stuff nor are we the one's who have channel analytics and an imperative enough to really think on it for long hours into the night but I think you do no favors to your nascent reputation for short and punchy assessments by padding anything out. sometimes, most times really, there's just not so much that needs to be talked over in detail about characters to warrant extending it out. Don't feel pressured to be more detailed then you are, you'll get videos with large runtimes emerging naturally as something complicated and/or even enough to warrent it comes around and that assuming if you don't just naturally evolve to longer scripts through growing experience/confidence.

Personally I think a comparison from Robocop 1 vs Terminator 1 is more apt. Both franchises got more and more ridiculous. One thing we are forgetting though is that Robocop is an enforcement unit meaning he stands on or heads to the front lines. The Terminator is an infiltration unit and if you factor that in, The Terminator would probably see its highest chance for success being to obtain the weapons that Clarence Bodigger had. 1 shot, bye bye Robo.

I’m pretty sure the plasma rifle could put robocop down like the resistance steals those same plasma weapons from the T-800’s that they manage to blow up and use them against them. Without it I would say Robocop stomps especially with his Jet Pack. If it’s the T-850 the slightly more advanced model from T-3 I could see it trying to shove it’s plasma core into Murphys mouth like the T-X or just holding it near his head as Robo stabs his titanium hack blade into the T-850’s head causing them to both die in a tie. Overall Murphy stomps 7/8/10 depending on circumstance and if he goes up against the Standard T-800 with or without plasma rifle. Cause even that gun can potentially put a dent in Murphy. But regardless I see Murphy winning majority of these show downs. I would actually love to see how Robo would fair against the T-1000 not gonna lie.

Next matchup? Lovecraft vs Poe, lol. Seriously tho, I think what mostly matters in this matchup is wether or not robocop is aware of terminator or not (I'm talking T1 vs RC1 here, T1000 from T2 vs RC1/2 and even 3 is barely fair). Terminator after all is an infiltration unit, if he can get a drop on robocop then Murphy may be in trouble - I feel like he never got hit in the face because of the plot armor, and then there's stuff he should be vulnerable to (like poisonous gas or high voltage).

What if you did more then 2 characters that could increase run time though it could make things a bit harder. For example Virgil (dmc) jetstream sam (metal gear rising ) and sephoroth (original ff7 I spelt it wrong)

If it is 1 on 1 then maybe Clarke wins, but if it is more than one Xeno, acid blood kills Clarke.

@@themaniomarian I mean, Isaac has been shown to endure acid from the Puker Necromorphs before, I'm not saying it wouldn't do damage but he can definitely endure it for a while.

@@_Amythyst_Edits_ Puker's acid does not compare to the Xenomorph's blood. The whole thing about Xenomorphs onboard space ships is that you can't shoot them, or else you will face rupture and sudden decompresion. Puker's acid isn't strong enough to melt the hull of a ship. Basically the only protection from Xenomorph's acid is to drop whatever you are wearing before it burns trough it and gets your flesh. Issac could beat one xenomorph quite easly, but two working together is a certain death.
