I cried when the mothers were talking about their lost kids it's a fucking nightmare that kids live in fear for their lives in this country, I was amazed and refreshed to see Drillminister rap about politics so eloquently because more young people need to be engaged, I was glad to see the girls not accept being treated as objects because the argument over men's treatment of women will rage for eternity. This was a proper journey.

The end brought tears to my eyes. Great documentary. The video featured young men such as Kidavelly who usually is on a negative knife carrying, "kill or be killed" tip. But here, even he is attempting to make positive moves and sounding remorseful and cognizant of the pain felt by victims' families in the aftermath of violent attacks. Bravo!! The ending song was the tearjerker. I thought of all those young lives lost and wondered if they could have ever imagined their regular "day to day mothers" being in a situation where they would be on camera, making melodious music that would go out to millions around the world................ That is so emotional 😢

What happened to respect your fellow man? When they blame they have no choice as they live in the hood and can’t get any money. Kid your 14 your not suppose to have money, get your head down do your school work and work hard to get a good job, be patient, have ambition and good things will happen.

The DrillMinister is fucking fire man. I really appreciate that puts a Progressive flare to his music. I’m a huge of Progressive music like Pink Floyd, Tool, Joy Division, Kid Cudi, hell even XXXTentation’s music is pretty progressive, and the like. Think I can a new artist to the list. 👍 Not only that but I absolutely appreciate the fact that he’s trying to get the people listening to his music to pay more attention to the the things and people that actually have an effect on our day to day lives and futures.

So UK drill started in Brixton yea, my hometown. Keep on pushing forward my brothers. Just try not to get caught up in the mix up and focus on the music, be ambitious and take over.

This is a landmark documentary. Just like Hip-Hop Culture in the US, the UK is no different - A sociopolitical message from people in the struggle to change, through Music & Arts. The Hip-Hop genre has evolved massively, but the spirit of the genre will always remain the same.

Personally I think drill is different in many ways as in like u have drilly drill like this ones where you rap about stabbing ur opps and talking about the dead , that one there is what promotes more violence these are the ones that don’t care about the music they are just doing it to annoy their opps. Then there’s actually good drill where like these are the one who wants to actually blow in music I mean don’t get me wrong they are still talking about stabbing but only to a certain degree, these one are the songs that actually helps them blow and make it in music like: Unkown T homerton B, Headie one- golden boot, Digga D- no diet etc.
