I love my 2016 Node D8. It rides like a full sized bike and is rock solid. There's no creaking or flexing. I used to have a Dahon Speed P8 and it was a good bike but did not feel nearly as solid and there was always a bit of play in the stem. The Tern Node D8 can be a bit bulky when folded and it's not the lightest folding bike but those are easily overlooked by the stability and fantastic ride quality. I can fit it in the trunk/boot of a car easily (with maybe a few exceptions). These are great bikes. Cheers from L.A.

Great design. 24" is about perfect for me. Love the sweep back handle bar - that makes riding comfortable. Comfort and size are 2 most important to my ride. And this model is the solution to me.

One of the Node models has a protective plastic guard around the chain. Does this make a lot of noise as the chain passes through it? It is a nice idea since I don't like getting chain oil on my pant leg. Thank you.

The chain guards don’t touch the chain so they don’t make any noise and they keep your trousers clean
