very cool. if you go to the high desert PLEASE DONT share the locations of the mines. They will close them if there is too much foot traffic
@socaldualsportadventure53202 жыл бұрын
thanks for. sharing the location lol
@Rick6.6LLY Жыл бұрын
Sorry bud but if you live in socal everyone knows about the high desert
@fuckareweetribe2279 Жыл бұрын
@@Rick6.6LLY Cool glad you clarified that. Everyone must know exactly where all the mines im talking about are at too.
@jabroni61999 ай бұрын
All you did was get people who didn’t know about the mines motivated to find them. I doubt you got anyone who was about to divulge the info to not do so because a YT stranger told them not to.

Awesome guys. You've got to head back and check out the mud hills on the south side of the 78. The Badlands heading out to Truck Haven is great too

Shouldve talked about not leaving trash and showed where the dumpsters are as well 🤘🏻
@bugeyedfreek6762 жыл бұрын
That was my first thought. It's a cool idea but it would suck to see their favorite spots get ruined by people leaving their trash.

BUGeyedFREEK 67 Exactly I’ve been goin there since I was young and don’t want the state to take more of the land away then they already have so that way it can keep being a fun place to get away to

I love ocotillo, been coming since i was a kid. People respect it too, more than glamis(love glamis too) definitely recommend it for good riding and safe family environment too, also they have showers to and bathrooms everywhere😎

Just went for my first time last week and as soon as I get there my Jeep wouldn’t turn on and we already fell behind from the group. Still so fun though I got the Jeep running and the whole day we were chasing our group that we were supposed to ride with. One thing you guys didn’t mention that I find really important. Go slow near the camp sites. First off it’s respectful and also it’s hard to see little kids riding on their little 50s 🏍.

Would be a cool app if these spots were actually on the app. Downloaded app and there’s only like 2-3 listed on there.
@Sanguine_Addiction2 жыл бұрын
Apologies if it sounds like a dumb question, but it is pretty self explanatory as to where to park? I've never been there before and I need to give my YZ250X a good stretch. Plus I haven't been on a bike in a while so I figured wide open space is best before hitting the tracks.
@rockyesterline7942 Жыл бұрын
We used to ride out there in early 70s before everything had names it was only b l o w sand Devil Slide Split Mountain but we rode Everywhere You filmed and even down the riverbed to the Salton Sea we called it r o c k a t i a because there was so many rocks then when we found out about Glamis we would only drive right through Ocotillo and never stop! LOL

Yeah exactly was it me or did it look like it had mini trailing arms instead of a standard rear lower link????
@chrissshenanigans49362 жыл бұрын
@@theclan4adventures yeah it looks like a 3 link shortcourse hybrid. shocks look mount inside of the frame as well. super dope and low profile setup. wish i could fit something like this on my 3rd gen 4runner
@theclan4adventures2 жыл бұрын
@@chrissshenanigans4936 yeah no doubt.. you can do a lot with a 3rd gen though.. I’m sure a mini 4link with trailing arms wouldn’t be too much work.. just a lot of fab ..calculations and measurements if you have the skills or know someone who does..
@chrissshenanigans49362 жыл бұрын
@@theclan4adventures yup definitely. alot of people go three link shortcouse with shock over axle. main hurdle going 4link is the gas tank location and not enough room inbetween the framerails and body to mount shocks in a 4 link trailing arm style. would be cool as hell tho.
@terra-crew2 жыл бұрын
@@chrissshenanigans4936 @Sequoia4trails The 4Runner has a three link mini trailing arm setup in the rear with a bypass and a coilover mounted on the outside of the frame going into the trailing arm. Super tight package and works awesome with 16" of wheel travel strapped. -BlackHat
