Good info and walk through. Thanks. I noticed air bags on the back too, I guess for when you are even heavier. Maybe do a similar vid on those?

Hi Benny . Thanks for the feedback and your comments. Yeah your on the money basically already had, the air bags fitted so I wasn't going to remove them, for the exact reason you have suggested, mainly when towing other heavier ball weighted rigs other than the Ultimate camper. But yep I could look to doing a airbag video in the future. Cheers G

What is the weight of the vehicle fully loaded? What is the load on the back axle?

G’day, do you have track correction in the rear diff or just floating axles? Curious to know your thoughts? Regards Jonno

We have the JMACX diff correction and the floating axles. Terrain Tamer heavy duty parabolics are on the vehicle now plus airbags assist when fully loaded. We have contemplated going to their mining spec parabolics but the current setup seems to be working for us at the moment.

Are the parabolic suitable for GVM upgrade to 3950 with 2 inch lift? I presume you have an upgrade given jmax rear axle upgrade. Thanks in advance

What was the weight ratings for the parabolic spring sets. Both the 3 and the 4 leaf sets.

We’ve only ever run 315s, Harry, and don’t have any plans to change. The muddies are pretty noisy on the black top but are at their best on the dirt. So it’s all a bit of a compromise:)

How do you find the 315's? I'm considering going up from my 285's

Hi Dusty . Re your question on 315s so straight off the bat , they are heavier , so increased rolling resistance, means more revs so more fuel , it’s expensive more rubber = more $$$. Our rig is set up to get us off grid and as much as possible off the blacktop. So for us the bigger tyres mean more rubber so once pressure down we get a great flotation ride that help sucks up the corrigations, offers a bigger footprint in sand , great grip over rocks. Being larger diameter gives a bit more lift as well. If it was going to be a daily drive then probably wouldn’t go MT but more for an All Terrain tyre. Hope that answers your question . Cheers Grant

What adjustable shock absorbers would you recommend?

Hi Perrin , re your question as to what adjustable shocker to use . I am afraid we don’t have any experience using a remote reservoir shocker on our set up. There are many brands and makes on the market . Terrain tamer would be a good starting point as they now do offer these remote style shockers.
