After installing the Argo MX handlebar conversion and Argo New Frontier 24" swim tires on my 2000 Argo Conquest 8x8, it's time to test them out. It's an unstoppable beast! The steering upgrade is definitely an improvement. Unfortunately, I'm now getting a persistent sticking valve issue. I'm debating on doing a video of the head removal and valve job or not. I haven't even had the chance to get it in the water yet.

Bigger tires makes any vehicle better if you have the power to turn them over. Great running and handling Argo.

It appears that the new steering makes it seem as if there is more sensitivity. The individual sticks made it seem as if you had to pull or push the sticks forward or backward more while steering/controlling.. The upgrades on your machine were worth it in my opinion.

where did you get this kit from and how much was it, awesome machine im looking at a 2000 conquest and the first thing is 24" tires. and possibly this steering kit...thanks!

I got everything from argoadventure.com. it wasn't a "kit" as all the individual parts had to be looked up and added to my cart separately. Alot of these parts aren't being made anymore for the older Argos like my 2000 Conquest. I love my Argo even more now because of the 24" tires and the steering upgrade. It's just as capable as the 2023 models. Talk to those guys at Argo Adventure, and they'll help you out. They can even tell you everything about your Argo from the SN#. I'm glad the video helped. I made two videos before this one on fitting the tires and then one on installing this steering upgrade.
