I remember being a kid and a cousin told me they saw a guy walk up smiling and gave another one a dap with one hand and pulled a gun and shot him dead with the other. As I got older I found out it wasn't as surprising as I thought it was. Dude is a phychopath and he even knows it. He knows how he's expected to behave in society and what he should feel when certain things happen, but he doesn't actually feel it emotionally (at least not deeply). That's why he's not traumatized by the bad stuff he went through and why he's so lighthearted and drugged out like so many street dudes are.
