I started one after watching your last vid, currently on the frost moon stage with an Amarok (oh God lol). So far my luck has been pretty good, the highlights have been I had to use a Lights Bane against Skeletron.

you could've gotten pearlwood sword for the moon lord fight since it's technically a hardmode weapon (11 base damage)

I think duke fishron and empress are the most like modded bosses to me, they’ve just got those unique mechanics that make it feel like theyre modded

The grenade launcher is so fun to use with golem. You can literally rain explosions while hanging out on the side and it is just SO FUN

Where did "Terraria but it's upside down" from one of the streams go? Did the inevitable and unexpected spam in the chat turn into a problem? Just asking :)

I loved watching this series! If you do this again (and I totally think you should), I'd say go ahead and just remove the basic metal/wood shortswords/broadswords. They're just difficult, but the kind of difficulty they bring isn't interesting. Maybe you think that's not in the spirit of the challenge, but they're just really boring to watch. Also ditch the actually useless weapons like the umbrella and breathing reed. Those ones I think are basically a no-brainer to remove. Maybe leave in like one of the wooden swords as a "if I get really unlucky at least it will be funny" option.

Yo, i just watched all of the terraria masochist mode series and, it was so epic!

2021 came and everything went to shit. this series reminded me of a simpler time

oh man, the empress fight me and three of my friends were doing a master mode playthrough when 1.4 just came out, and we got *creative* with bossfights. We're not the best terraria players, so we had to come up with some strategies. For Eater of Worlds, the projectiles it shot was really fucking us up. So we had two players spin Sunfuries on small poles, and the other player stand inside them and use ranged weapons to hit EOW. The Sunfuries acted like mini shields, because it destroys projectiles, so we had two people acting as shields and the other two doing damage. For Golem we made a one way wall, then placed 3 cannons on the inside. One person (the tank) acted as the bait and drew aggro while us other 3 spammed cannonballs until Golem died. Sounds OP, but if the tank died it was basically SCRAMBLE For Empress (day fight, we wanted to kill her during the day) we couldn't come up with a cheese strat. So we farmed Pirate invasions until we all had the boat mount, then we farmed Mimics until we all had Rods of Discord, and everyone had plenty of wormhole potions. Then we all flew across the top of the map, kiting Empress and doing small chip damage, with the boats to outpace her and rods of discord to dodge if needed. Wormhole potions so that if you died, you could teleport back. Very chaotic, but it worked, eventually.
