Funny Story 11: SURPRISE! I've been keeping this song's existence a secret for over a year now, and I actually can't believe it stayed a secret all this time!
I had originally planned to finish this, Boss Rush Tier 5 and Draedon and release all of them at once to jumpscare literally everyone, but since those have been taking longer than anticipated (who saw that coming WOW) I thought I'd post this to tide you guys over in the meantime. Sorry for the long wait. :p
Funnily enough, this was mostly made in a spur of motivation in late-January 2023 and I'm incredibly happy with how this turned out - though the latter half of the production process dragged ALL THE WAY into November 2023. This feels far more complex and evolved in comparison to the rest of my boss rush tracks, and I'm so glad I actually put more effort into this one. It's actually made me consider going back and redoing tiers 1-3, but maybe that wouldn't be worth my time.
As for where it fits into the story: This is where the realisation kicks in, this is no ordinary trial - this is a trial of the gods.

I am beyond words right now. Everything about this was perfect. I half expected there to be no tier 4 or 5 themes for years. But this was a huge surprise. Especially because I was expecting Draedon if anything. (Which had been disproven in the comments of your posts). So I expected it to not be calamity related at all. Imagine my surprise. On top of that listening to this banger again the bass throughout the song has a similar feel to most of Keygen Church's work, like an almost organ but techno bass and I love it to bits.

unfortunately neither of the songs are in a state where they can release soon, they're both unfinished and will need a fair bit more time before they're done. i want to try to get things done for the first half of this year, but that remains to be seen.

This is the best way I could have possibly started my spring break, thank you so much for this. I was so worried about who would take up the torch to finish the boss rush themes and you have literally made my year with this. I've been keeping up with as many updates as I could find since boss rush 3 was released and all that waiting and anticipation was 100% reached, honestly even surpassed. I absolutely love the shift in the style compared to the recent themes, more rapid and direct, increasing the involvement of the drums, let alone practically everything, giving you a sense of approaching finality, as if Xeroc is giving you a last test of courage to see if you’re worthy for Tier 5, absolute banger, then the motifs, just absolutely amazing to hear what you’ve produced, no doubt when Tier 5 and Draedons theme comes out they’ll be nothing short of absolute masterpieces.
