how 2 fight martians: step 1. Build a volcano trap step 2. realise the martian deathray can now hit through blocks step 3. make a small tunnel in the volcano trap for you step 4. place teleporters at both ends of small tunnel with pressure plates wired up to take you to the teleporter on the other side step 5. cheese the martians like 1.3 never left (Note: This isn't even a joke)

or you can just dodge his lasers by moving left and right on 2nd phase, so step 4 is not necessary.

Go to either ocean, build rope up to the space layer and attach a platform and place a water candle. It'll show up quickly guranteed. And if for some reason it still doesnt show up often, use a battle potion as well

When I fought my first one, I was in a server and we weren't ready. So many deaths, and I was trying not to die. Goodness... Tbh, I try my hardest to survive now, but I can't get the event to spawn.. Too rare
