I never heard of the terraria show, but i already saw all the element animation episodes??? I didn't even know it was about terraria.

When I was 7-8ish I got a pack of terraria toys for Christmas and had no clue what the game was. I didnt play the game for another 5-6 years and when I was fighting the eye of cuthulu I had a mental flashbang to the show and toys.

its weird to me how inconsistent this show is with staying lore accurate, the love subplot between the goblin tinkerer and Amy (aka the mechanic) is canon to the game but they couldn't even get the fact that The Twins are a mechanical boss correct, also I guess the fact that Amy is an outsider could hint to the fact in the games you first encounter the mechanic locked in the dungeon??

It’s sad that Scott Yakiwchuk (One of the original VAs from season 1) died around the start of 2015, at least he didn’t get to see how shitty the animation got after episode 7

From what I remember, the reason as to why Element Animation stopped making the series was because Scott Stoked, a prominent voice actor and member of element animation who voiced many of the channel’s characters such as Steve, the pirate, and the demolitionist, had died to a heart attack :( I remember watching the “memorial” video as a kid, and once the new episode for the terraria series released with a different team making it I remember very much noticing the whiplash in quality haha. It’s really sad tho, Scott had a very distinct voice in Element Animation’s videos, especially as Steve, and because of that the channel struggled to figure out what to do with many of its series (especially an egg’s guide to Minecraft). Anyhoo, just wanted to drop this here for those still wondering why element animation stopped making the series, really fun video! ^^
