One small correction: Although the show is indeed partially based on king Lear, I think he was mistakenly confusing it here with "The Lion In Winter." Which is another excellent play one of the show's creators said it's also based on. That work dealt with Henry II, not king Lear. Otherwise excellent interview!!! Loved it!!! .
