I’m an offline player that does my own rosters, sliders, etc….So it would take hundreds of hours of editing with 134 collegiate teams but with the roster upload/download share option, it cuts that time down dramatically so I can finally play the game….With that being said, as an offline player, I like COMPLETE CUSTOMIZATION over the limited option….Hopefully it’s not a deal breaker but that’s stupid to me….And also ppl make money off rosters nowadays, so I can see EA trying to limit if they can’t get theirs💯💯

Bro thank you so very much for making this video. You took the words right out of my mouth. For no reason at all EA has done this and that's a fact. This used to be a great time of the year to get hyped up for football season. Now it feels like I've been shitted on and kicked in my ass. Why all the secrecy this year from EA.on certain game modes? I'll tell you why. They simply for some unknown reason decided to fuck over a portion of their their customers. 1. Team Builder (Offline Mode): At the very last minute they announced it would be limited and they weren't bullshitting. I think you can only do 16 teams out of 132 or 134. Why not as many as a player wanted? The funny thing is I was only going to keep 8 or 16 original teams and create the rest. Wow if it took me a week to do it that would have been a fun thing to do. I was looking forward to that. Well EA sure corrected my way of thinking. They basically told me in so many words that I don't work for EA they do. So now that's been fucked up. Then just to sharpen the foot they placed deep in my ass it appears that Team builder is on accessible for online mode only and to top it off some stranger I guess their calling the commissioner will be in control of that not the player. Thanks EA but I would have bought me a bucket of KY if I had if known my fun factor was going to get fucked this bad. I was I had of been at their headquarters to tell what I think about their game. 2. Content Creators vs. Fans (old and new) Who in the fuck at EA came up with this idea. They had ex amount of years to get this shit right and as far as game play they have. I would not expect anything less. These deep thrives have not impressed me in the slightest. They game should look too notch. 3. Game play (Offline mode): Can you turn off or on gameplay sliders, player attributes, and most importantly this bullshit wear and tear system. Boy I betcha the motherfucker that came up with idea thought they were now the equivalent of Albert Einstein. The short answer to this question I'm gonna say is no and fuck you dear loyal EA customer. All of that wrapped up in a new EA middle finger banner that reads EA Sports It's Up Your Ass! If they can dominate in real life I can do realistically my way in fantasy. At the end of the day it's about having choices to play how the player wants to play. It doesn't matter if they lose or win every game. It's ours to decide. I guess EA is saying not anymore. 4. Player Likeness: I could care less about any of these players monetary aspirations. In fact, fuck them and that shit. I just want to have fun playing football. Give me some generic dudes and shut the fuck up for life. 5. Exporting Draft Class to Madden: This probably should have been number one. What the hell point is it to play one or multiple seasons if you can't see the creme of the crop go to the next level? It makes no sense at all. This year all I've heard about how realistic this game is only to exclude something highly realistic. And for the commenters that have become overnight lawyers for EA. You should have advised your client to shut the hell up and let you do the talking because they have been contradicting from the start. In real life players that are good enough get drafted into the NFL. Here at appears the player will just have to imagine (lmao) what team that player went to. Theres a reason for this and unfortunately were just going to have to be happy to have the game. If you allowed unrestricted editing, you can potentially bring in players who didnt sign the NIL agreements with EA, and this could put EA in hot water if their game allows for its players a loophole to get around those NILs deals or lack there of. Sucks but we just have to be glad that the game appears to be as in depth as it is. I think theres probably still a potential that custom players(fresh recruits from HS) can be fully edited. Prob just wont be able to make players completely from scratch or edit any of the players on the release day roster. And im almost positive the numbers thing will be fixed.

I never cared about having real players in the college games... The tradeoff in having real players is horrible. If I own a game, I should have every right to customize it to my full private enjoyment. It can't be that difficult to give offline players this freedom while keeping the online community locked out to whatever necessary legal extent.

If changing Jersey number is the most important thing to you in the first college football game in 11 years then that's fine, you do you. EA won't go bankrupt if you don't buy the game. I'm sure there are plenty of other sports games you can go play and change all the numbers you want. They have all the numbers, the best numbers, they have the 5's, and the 3's . . . .oh yeah, they have the 3's, they have the best 3's and people say, I have heard the 2's are loved by all.

I don't typically comment on videos because I'm not an argumentative person, but here's what I will say. I despise Madden and I had not bought a Madden game since 2013 up until 24 came out and I said, "It's been over 10 years let me give it a try." I hated it, it had so many bad things and EA clearly half assed it. Madden has become a dull, lifeless and money greedy game. So when College Football 25 was announced I was extremely skeptical. I was worried of Madden reskins and being a copy paste of features, and I loved the NCAA games and I love college football more. I am absolutely still skeptical because naturally I am of EA. However, from everything I have seen, I am also excited, which is a strange feeling for an EA sports game. Now I don't love everything about the game obviously. I have never liked any video game I play 100 percent because it's just not possible to create the perfect game because something will disappoint someone. And some features (College Ultimate Team and missing High School play) I wish they would remove and put into it respectively. But just like any other 1st game, there will be bumps along the way. It's been 10 years without the game. I gotta be honest and I played a lot of dynasty, I don't think that this is a big deal. Yes, does it take away from the creativity a tiny bit? Yes. But the fact that they put a lot of detail into dynasty that they could've skipped over shows me that they do have some care (for EA anyways). That's as far as the jersey number stuff which is more of a minor inconvenience to me. As far as the attributes...why would you wanna edit them anyways? Doesn't changing them make the game like, not challenging? It's easy to critique EA, but you just gotta give them a chance before. If the gameplay sucks, if the game overall feels washed and lame, absolutely blast them. Hell it'll be my last EA game ever myself. But I gotta see it myself first and so many things can swirl around the internet that are either overexaggerated or just not true. Let's see the game, play it, then make a decision. I don't think we will be disappointed though which is a first for me.

This is misunderstood. For example, if the ATH's best position is a QB, the number will automatically reflect that when he gets to campus. In NTE's recent Kennesaw State video, the ATH he recruited already had a OL/DL number, as those were his best positions.

If your worried about not being able to change your one star recruit into your favorite new recruit for the actual team, you are missing the point of playing the game. You also need to understand the limitations of what they are allowed to do and the advice that the legal department probably gave them. Makes dynasty "unplayable" I think not.

As far as recruits go with the one question asked of NTE about recruiting an ATH with number 27 and then making a QB once you make the change of position the game will auto update the player to have an appropriate number. In his dynasty video he posted yesterday he recruited a center that was number 19 and once signed and on the roster the center's number changed to 77.

I will say this about the jersey numbers, when you recruit an athlete in the previous games and once he’s a part of your roster then you decide what position he will play…after that decision is made and you advanced that part of the offseason, then a jersey number was assigned to the player based on relative numbers because of position. I never turned an athlete into a WR who could’ve been a Safety and had his number be in the 20’s-40’s. So we’ll see how it pans out.
