Slender: The Arrival, is a sequel to Slender, the game that dumps you in the middle of a dark forest and tasks you with collecting pages while being stalked by the 'Slenderman'. The sequel shares a similar premise, but adds a creepy story, new gameplay mechanics and even more of a sense of creeping dread. Watch us get scared witless in this Xbox 360 gameplay.

Coming back to these older videos after Mike's explained how his fear response to these games is usually one of fairly acute stress, makes me feel bad that we've overlooked his own experience of unpleasantness through these games just because they weren't as memeable or lol-worthy. I could never play a game like this. Real-life dark, menacing places, being alone at home at night (or a forest or, heck, even a graveyard), people trying to scare or spook me, horror movies, things like that just won't get to me, i'll allways stay calm. But if a game gets spooky and scary, i'm bound to freak out. I don't know why, it's strange, but it is like that.

I doubt you'll ever read this but here's some slender trivia you seemed to be clueless about XD: Slender's powers include teleporting and slender sickness. Slender sickness is pretty much just insanity. Slender sickness often includes hallucinations, hysteria/fear/anger, general confusion/black outs of time, and/or development into a proxy. A proxy is essentially his slave. He doesn't just get you when you look at him. But in the game it does make him catch you faster. Slender has several black tentacles coming out of his back in many versions, though not in this one. :/ I can't think of much more. Any other pasta lovers willing to add on?
