If in fact, his illness was serious then "his choice" is not worth the paper it is written on. Duress is another way to put it. Anyone who commits suicide will result in some form of enquiry so the whole throwing yourself in front of the train theory then throws the question of why wasn't this person sectioned? ITV were probably waiting for a reason to cancel Jezza. Love Island is still on the way up, so they operate with a double-standard. 1 suicide in 15 years of Jezza is too many, 2 in 5 years for Love Island is fine.

I think lots of people did. A lot of people who can't get out of their homes (again not through any fault of their own) and faced similar problems. Could start their day watching this show to numb their own pain. And it would make them think GOD at least my life is not as cr@p as this. That was part of the pull. I know people who did this, me too when I was bedridden for a period of time. So glad I started to get out of my situation so I stopped watching that trash! Terry is 100% spot on with his analysis of the political message behind the show. I like Terry Christian. He tells it as it is - please or offend. He's real! Well, to be fair to the shows, people call to get onto them to solve their issues. The main problem is that doing it publicly is a horrible idea, but people still do it. Shows like Jeremy Kyle and Steve Wilkos wouldn't have worked/been profitable if people didn't come on the shows.
