Dude is real! He was working out at gym that I worked for back in the the day. This was two years after Next Friday came out. I asked him to come and talk to the lil kids in the Iberville projects, here in New Orleans. He didn't hesitate and said yes. All he asked, is no tv cameras. He shot ball, talked to the kids and took pics. He's definitely a solid dude!

He didn't want cameras.. He just wanted to do it for you and the kids.. That's a great story, bro 😊❤ I THINK Terry is just one of those people who'll forever stay grounded and realistic: That he's a normal human being that's been blessed with dreams that came true .. And he realizes that and is so grateful.. And I think he will share it with anyone that needs it.. ❤

free for 6 years (13 - 18) and then MAYBE you get a college education (4 years) in exchange for damaged body parts. and then MAYBE you make it to the NFL (3.3 years) and make the league average $860k. $860k x 3.3 = $2.8m = $1.9m (after taxes) = $1.62 after agent fees so, if you make it to the pros and last the average length making the average money, you would have played football for 13 years to make $1.6m = $120k per year.

This conversation shows me the difference between people who become known on social media as entertainers versus people like Terry. Lot of the entertainers on social media and youtube want to skip to the millions immediately. They're money-driven. All you hear from them is caring more about "getting the bag" than actually becoming good at the craft. When you skip steps and do get an opportunity, you get exposed(i.e. Country Wayne and his Netflix special. He got the opportunity to have one. You saw a comedian who didn't have a developed standup routine for someone with a netflix special, imo. ) Terry is all about the work, loving the craft and paying the dues that lead to the money. I love Terry's POV.

Wayne got a special because he has a fanbase, not cuz he’s funny. He has no idea wtf he is even doing on stage. Netflix don’t care about art, just money.

@k1 , you sound like a person without an actual point or argument who resorts to personally attacking someone you have no idea who they are because of a difference in opinion. Terry Crews has the cash. Clearly he didn't do it ONLY for the love considering the man was married with a family during his struggles. Otherwise, he would be broke and would have been exploited. That's why he said he had all those different jobs to make ends meet. You only heard what you wanted. I can have whatever opinion I want on here,btw. I don't care what you think. You can call me or slow or whatever you want. I don't know you anyway. You can agree or disagree. That's up to you.
@jlv3x

@@davruck1 when Netflix don't make their money back because people are not rewatching a special that's a whole different money story because it effects future opportunities. You can skip steps and get paid for something today, but if you're not ready it'll keep you from getting that same level tomorrow. I've seen it firsthand with multiple people get a job they weren't qualified for got knocked right back down. Being ready for your opportunity will have you "getting to that bag" over and over again instead of just getting to it one time.

Terry Crews is so uplifting and it's a nice change from everything that can be so negative. He's very funny in his movies too.
