I noticed around 4:13 that Hulk Hogan's wearing white wristbands, white boots, white knee-pads, red trunks & a white 'Hulk-A-Mania' tank-top with red lettering. Since when did Hulk Hogan wear an outfit like that?... I was born in early-1989 & always remembered seeing him in the yellow & red.

Ordered mine today! I dig the Terry Funk figure but I think they should have went with Iron Sheik instead with the green strap belt. A Macho Man and Honky Tonk Man set would be great in this line!

Ordered mine today. More for Terry Funk but it is good to get the red & white Hogan into my collection. Never had him in those colors. The packaging is amazing from the bigger box to the two carded figures. Best of both worlds for me. I'm sort of done with LJN style figures but I love the packaging and the UE figures. Yep, can't wait for the announcement of the next set. I really want an Andre Ultimate Edition next.

I like that era Hogan, he was one of my favorites as a kid. Back then I thought hey what's up with Hulk Hogan's hair it's blonde but silkened like that of a Chinese man & he has a skin of a hot dog

100% agree that it shoulda came with green chaps. If you’re doing an LJN inspired line then it should match the original as close as possible.

Hogan did wore red trunks during his time in AWA, when he “Technically” won the AWA World title, but yeah I don’t think he ever wore them in WWF

After ship and tax my total was at $82. We all know they will be ridiculous on eBay etc. so grab them for $40ish each. Could you guys imagine if we support this the classic Superstars we will get that never would have seen the light of day. Pre-ordered here.

On the LJN side of things , that red and white version of Hulk looked way better than the first Hogan that line put out . He looked too thin and pasty ! So im with ya . This was my go to Hulkster in my playing days .

Also, I mentioned on another reviewer's video, if you put black knee pads on Hulk you'll get AWA Hogan from Super Sunday vs Nick Bockwinkel, and that's pretty cool for us AWA fans.

My set arrived today. I bought this mainly for a new unique Hogan and that belt. But let me tell you,brother, that belt is not good. Flimsiest material of any belt I've messed around with in my collection. Fiddled with that thing for almost half-an-hour to get it secured to Hogan. I've been tired for a while with Mattel putting belts with figures that they barely fit on but the rubbery material of this one made it near impossible for me to get to latched on. I hope their next take on this belt fixes this. Also I don't know if it was a rights issue or what but if so someone needs to just pay the bill to add the missing details onto the plates. I don't remember if the LJN was just as blank and Mattel is copying that but the Big Green is an important belt you'd figure they'd need to get to sooner or later, may as well have nailed it right here.

REMOVED FROM MATTEL SITE. As of 5:55pm mountain time Nov. 10th it’s been removed and says “page not found”. Supposed to be available for order tomorrow morning. Wtf????????? Edit: I can now find it when searching on google, but still can’t when searching the Mattel creations site. Hopefully a temporary glitch.
