Bunch of idiot board members and fans. This is an awful idea. Xavi gave up his salary and they begged for him to come back. Xavi says the truth about their finances and they fire him and make the finances worse.

This club has been a disgrace ever since that Neymar transfer. From ridiculous wages paid to players such as Vermaelen and Umtiti to at one point, Roberto getting paid more than VVD to the obsession to beat Madrid instead of focusing on performance to the ridiculous expensive transfers and mismanagement of finances and players. They can say all they want about Xavi but the guy was honest when he mentioned that Barca fans shouldn't get excited for the next transferperiod. Started at Barcelona when he was 11 years old, won them the La Liga in his 1st season, got praised and then hated by a lot of fans, tried to leave the club because he believed Barca would return to its glory without him, was convinced to stay, even shook his hands at a press conference, only for him to be fired. That has to be the most obvious and biggest finger to a club legend. Never thought I'd see Barca in this state.

Well Flick won all big trophies in 12 month for Bayern and that does not happen every year, and he was head coach when Bayern beat Barca 8:2 on the way to the CL title. So I don't understand why people say they do wonder why Barcelona wants him.

I read sth about the u ruen with xavi a couple of weeks ago was never sincere from laporta and he wanted to get Flick in anyway. Which makes it even harder to understand why he publicly begged Xavi to stay...

Never saw this coming, where has he been on the moon. This clash with Xavi and Laporta was inevitable and it has gone on all season, even 2 weeks ago when he said that Xavi was staying there were reports coming out that they were still in conflict and as the days have gone on it was coming to a final conclusion and now we are here. Some Spanish football expert.

I respect Xavi and what he won for us but he needs to go and figure his stuff together. No fans want their club manager getting yellow cards or red cards every game. Lets be honest here. I'm a Barça fan and we need a level headed manager with these young players. He loses it alot

Funniest thing ever, manager gets sacked cause he tells fans to not get excited by the summer transfer window because of their financial situation. Xavi won La Liga last season & is dealing with horrible financial situation, it's a disaster at Barca. Laporta thinks fans most be lied to so that they don't give up support of the club, you can't risk losing more money by losing more fans... basically Xavi was sacked because he was not spewing lies for the club.
