My boy Terry is the best male social salsa dancer there is, no doubt about it, I really enjoy watching his videos and learning from them, but on this piece I can't help myself from just starting at Cecile , every single move she does is perfection, so elegant and grateful .

Guauuuuuu....creo que no he visto nunca nada igual...a veces los mejores no son los más conocidos, está claro. Esta pareja es otro nivel..llevan la música dentro, él es el mejor bailarín que he visto, y ella es muy elegante, no necesita hacer estridencias, impresionantes ambos, soy su nueva fan

3:16 terry is a beast. he IS the music. comes back into the dance on2 for musicality, immediately recognizes it, does an extra third spin to come back to on1. sooo much skilll i cried myself to sleep. also, kudos to cecile for immediately recognizing it and adjusting according. top notch follow.

yes, usually the on1 ( LA style) its more commonly taught, since on2 ( new york style )needs a student that understands better the timing and the "clave "of the music, and yes as the time passes the on2 make more sense or feels more natural

If you really get into the song, and you go back into it after some kind of a break, the direct compress/prep on 1 / release on 2 of a cross body lead just feels so much better (in my subjective opinion) than the whole stiff blah blah do 3 steps, pause, and at last lead on 5, etc... YMMV of course.

esto es una demostracion de salsa, pero en la pista terry se olvida con quien baila,siempre vive su mundo. la salsa se baila de dos personas en un solo mundo,no interesa el estilo.

B M No necesitas ser experto en salsa para dar una opinión, el men tiene razón, no tiene sabor. Podrás tener la mejor técnica del mundo pero si no tienes sabor, ese toque que hace al salsero pues no transmites... en fin son gustos :)

First of all, it’s a workshop demo, not a performance. But you should put up your own demo to show what real salsa is in your view. Maybe Terry can learn from you. 🤣🤣🤣
