Chris I think Mr rhino got a bit to close for momma elephants comfort when it came to her baby 🐘 she ain't playing. But Mr Rhino felt a little bit affronted by onlookers laughing at him, he's a sensitive kinda guy..

There is a video where an elephant with short tusks destroys a white rhino. They only avoid fight when they have babies together. Also, that was a female. Of that was a bull elephant the rhino would be resting now

I think several factors could influence the outcome, such as: number of each kind nearby, presence of babies, terrain, gender, age, temperament of each individual, maybe even physical factors like being tired, hungry, injured or in pain).
