As a former Tesco member of staff, I bet these poor folks are paid less than us 20 years ago......Odd how Teso closes depots only to re-open them 6 months later on much worse wages and condidtions.....The company is morally corrupt.....and as for 1 team don't make me laugh, that only applies when it suits, go to the Daventry depot and there are 7 different contracts on the shop floor depending on when you joined the company......You are just a number and if it means saving money Tesco will get rid of you or TUPE you to someone else......

Interesting to learn Tesco operations. Thanks for the video! I’m trying to learn about businesses outside of the US.

I’m pretty sure the hours are not guaranteed 5 days a week the Tesco warehouse I work at staffline pickers are getting cancelled on all the time even finishing early. My mate last week only got given 2 shifts and they are not doing Fridays anymore

yup, been working at one of their distribution centers in East London a few years back and the experience was dubious to say the least - you never knew if you were gonna get on a supervisors' good side at any moment of time, not to mention tampering with your performance ratings while picking and giving the best "picks" to their favorites, usually some skinny tall eastern european blonde bimbo lol...the workplace was also full of the former criminals, junkies and other scum probably collected straight from the stretet to fulfill their staff quotas. Met a few decent and fun folks around, but they were very few and far in-between. Definitely a thumbs down from me

@@kimskis yep that's probably the same in our wharehouse in Snodland Tesco doesn't really care about health and safety either we have a roof leak now for just over a year flooding the toilets on the opposite side of the wharehouse they only just decided to close them off, only cause I reported them to the local council

The club card is a scam they have just stopped all the regular offers and made them for club card holders only and then say they cant give you one because of covid. They just introduced this club card requirement for offers 3 weeks ago to cash in on covid second lock down. Still it is what it is, I need to download one

I worked in a tesco warehouse, we wear a machine on our arm at the tesco warehouse, I forgot the name of the machine now. That machine measures performance. My performance was low, what should I do to improve performance?
@daffyduk7713 күн бұрын
m/c is called an A.M.T. - arm-mounted terminal. Could be worse, like having a voice headset & having to keep saying "Ready", "Say again" etc a thousand times a day, the thing doesn't understand you, & you practically have a mental breakdown like I did. People find themselves going home & saying "Ready", "Say again" like robots to other people & things

best thing about working for Tesco - get off Staffline's books ASAP - is the training you can get, which will allow you to go work elsewhere.

Misleading video. Showing everyone almost sleepwalking at 25 to 50% of normal speed. In reality much faster pace or you're on yer bike. And in a warehouse showing as 01.2 degrees centigrade 3:57 you wouldn't want to do a job without a lot of exertion, you'd need to keep warm. Not a place for older employees. "...live and breathe them values ..." what utter tosh.
