Thanks. Great video. I thought I knew everything about the app but I did pick up one tip: the bit about entering your destination through the app and seeing how much battery would be left at the end of the trip. I do have ONE QUESTION: 25secs into the video there’s an image of a screen showing the percent of charging done from Solar, the Powerwall Battery and the Grid. How do you get to that screen? Is it only available if your battery is a Tesla Powerwall?

Can you do a "how to get out of or into" video in case of an emergency when there is no 12v battery power?

I don’t think an entire video is needed for this. To get out there emergency latches for all 4 doors. To get IN you just pop out the tow hook port in the front bumper and pull out the wires connected to the 12v battery, use them to power/charge the battery and unlock the car

@3:45. Unless Tesla has updated, your tire pressure can be "8 lb" and you'll never know until to try to drive your car, it's not current. I had the unfortunate experience of running out at 11pm, only to get a big red warning on my screen about critical tire pressure. It had been that low for 19 hours! The App will NOT notify. The Service ppl said maybe I had the App off. Even they didn't know it wont alert, even if on. I just checked my App and BTW thanks for the info, it gave me all the tire pressures -- FROM 2 DAYS AGO. Clearly, it's still a problem, a big one. Fortunately, I was home but it could have been catastrophic. I've tried to reach out to Tesla but other than 'Bug Report', it's impossible. If you have a flat tire, you won't know!

That is pretty typical of how tire pressure sensors work in cars. They only transmit when you move…

@@CharilaosKalogirou Tho I understand 'pretty typical', I'm still unsure why *Tesla* can't send a flat tire alert. Looking at the App and 'assuming' it defaults to the last time the car was 'driven' for pressure readings, still doesn't account for that theory. The screen opened with a big red 'Warning'. I didn't drive. The critical 19 hours, as I remember, was well short of the time it wasn't driven. The car already knew I wasn't going anywhere, is what I'm saying. If so, that same technology could've/should've alerted the App. Thanks for replying, it's more than 'Tesla Service' cared to do. BTW, don't use 'Fix a Flat', they'll refuse to repair and make you buy an new tire ($500.).

This was just great. I got my new Tesla early March and got 3 friends to get/order them too. Tesla doesn’t tell one any of the basics. My assumption was that you used a credit card at a supercharger..my friends had the same belief as this is how we always bought gas. The federal tax credit/benefit was also confusing. As my delivery date approached, it occurred to me that I had better get serious about becoming informed or I might be sitting on the side of the road with 0% battery. All that to say, this video was incredibly informative. All 3 of my friends are very well off and are always asking me questions about Tesla. When I am in an Apple store, I often notice well heeled more senior people asking basic questions about this or that. I think one could offer an in person starter’s guide to owning a Tesla for say $150. My friend would pay it in a heartbeat…maybe even more.

I had to laugh b/c I'd never driven a Tesla b4 they drove mine to my house. My son (he's in his 20's) and I hopped in, ready to go and had no idea how to 'start' the car. To this day, 2 years later, we still laugh about it.

@@FreeRadicals305 to me this is a big miss for Tesla…much like Apple has regular seminars in the Apple stores to show customers how to use and the capabilities of their products, it could be a win for Tesla to host ‘getting acquainted with your Tesla’ sessions at their beautiful Tesla showrooms. I’ll bet it would sell more cars and lessen the intimidation factor. Elon, you listening bro?

When TPMS indicates that the sensor battery is low, replace the sensor in time.

Unfortunately as of 4/30 referral program has stopped 😢😢 Elon says it will come back " better " at a later time. And there is no more option for EAP by itself as it is rolled in with FSD subscription which is now 8000 USD

App is great and use it all the time. But seem to have more frequent issue using my iPhone as the key. Keep getting prompted to use the Key Card in order to drive. Sometimes restarting the iPhone or turning Bluetooth off/on resolves the issue. Some times it just works the next time or maybe the next day. Used to be an infrequent issue but starting to happen much more frequently. Any thoughts on that issue?

Hmm the only thing i can think of is the age of your tesla or iPhone. Newer models of both have better bluetooth technology. I have a 2021 Tesla and I had the iPhone 13 Pro. I had similar issues but it was rare and not as bad as what you're describing. I now have the latest iPhone Pro and have had no issues with the phone key working.

Not hating, but in 2024 do people really need these videos, especially if you are a Tesla owner? If so, then I wonder if they even need the car. I’m just questioning people’s level of intelligence that will buy something they don’t understand and need to come to some random person’s KZfaq channel to understand the product vs getting that from the source before they drive away. I get you KZfaqrs need a way to make money and this is your only option these days vs a career, so take advantage of people’s lack of intelligence.

This is a very stupid comment. If you've ever purchased a Tesla you'll know that they dont provide in depth information about their cars during the purchase process. Many people buy Teslas because of features like its safety, low maintenance, no gas, etc. They just happen to be equipped with technology that many people may not understand. These videos make it easier to learn visually rather than reading manuals. KZfaq isn't my career and I make these videos because when i bought my Tesla i wish I had this type of information. You should really think before you write senseless comments.

@@MikeSeuss once again, I wasn’t hating on your career choice or your video. It’s the fact that you have to make them. I own three Teslas and didn’t need KZfaq to teach me how to drive it or use the app. People are being told they need KZfaqrs to tell them that when it’s not true at all. I’m just saying KZfaq has its place but if you need it to tell you how to operate something you spent thousands on, then it question your intelligence. Before I drove off in my first Tesla the service center went through everything with me because I asked questions. The service center also showed me the little convenient thing that most KZfaqrs don’t talk about, the built in owners manual on the screen that will show you everything on the car and app. No car maker puts out a product and hopes KZfaqrs figure out how to operate their vehicles better than they do. My point is people are lazy and KZfaqrs rely on people being lazy. Your production is great and as a full time job, you are doing good work with. I do apologize for sounding cynical, I just type in Tesla this morning and your was like the 500th of the same type of video for the week and I just noticed a pattern with you guys. But seriously ALL your videos and PRODUCTS look great since you don’t do this full time.
