I agree with you Chris. If the passenger does not want to be recorded in my car then they can cancel the ride. I had a guy say to me that he doesn't want to be recorded. I said to him that I understand how he feels. I pulled over and opened the door and invited him to get out and get a different ride.

❤❤❤Lyft rates in San Diego, California are horrible! Private rides have taken over! Passengers are requesting rides without Lyft and Uber!

As a model 3 owner i would like to sleep while my car goes out and makes money buuut there's so many concerns (cleanliness, battery life, insurance etc)

Here in Houston I have learned to avoid rides going into or starting out in Pasadena. Every time I have had a passenger picked up or dropped off in Pasadena just basically in the southeast part of Houston at least that's where Pasadena starts at, the rides turn out weird in some way or another and he never seems to matter what time of day or night the ride is. I also know to avoid rise going to or being picked up on Richmond Street if it's west of 610 because that's where this club is called bad behavior and every time I've had anybody dropped off or picked up in that area it is difficult as hell to do it because of just the congestion trying to get to a reasonable spot to drop the person off at or pick them up at and I have had the worst luck with rude self entitled riders.

I've had my Octopus for 1.5 yrs. I drive PT, about 25 hours per week. I usually average approximately $25 per month. Better than nothing, I suppose. It's secured pretty tight with the mounts that are provided. I haven't had any issue w people trying to steal it. Everything else I've ever provided has been stolen. Even a box of tissues. I find more drunk people, especially in groups play it and couples out on date night. Some get so involved, they don't want to get out of the car, lol.

Gotta share this Got a ride at LAX to Arcadia 37 miles 45 minutes pay for me was 24.00 I asked the Rider how much he was paying he said 86.00 I told him I was sooo mad I had to cancel to health issue My blood pressure went through the roof how Uber was stealing from me and drove home alone

I have the play octopus and they pay $25 either cash out or with gift cards depending on your choice and the way you get that money is in theory the tablet detects when you're on a trip and pays you a point for every trip and then you also get a half a point for every game that the rider plays while on the trip and then after you accumulate 250 points that's when you can cash out either with an actual cash to an account or as a gift card. For me it comes out to $25 a month and I also have whoever rides with me also has to set in the back seat and play on the tablet even if it's just me and a friend going to the store because they are still back there watching the ads so why not let that be counted.

Your ride share car is not your house. It’s a place of business during the ride and is regulated. If your house went into a business such as a daycare center then recording rights go out the window.

You need a dash cam even if you drive for five minutes. And you do need a dash cam in case of an accident that is your fault. Because the person you hit. Can try to sue you and blow up their injury where you could see in the dash cam they weren’t hurt. Or they actually caused the accident. Even though you’re the one who hit them. Like an illegal U-turn. Right in front of you instead of waiting for you to go by and you rear end. Them.

Tesla has the cell phone key feature. Easy download and remove when rental time over. Easy full self drive to a Super Charger parking lot to wait for the next ride or the next rental can be fromm drop off to drop off. The issue will be the regulation of non supervised full auto pilot. As of now, my full self drive is supervision only. Also the full self drive feature cannot reverse the car if car runs into a dead end or road block. So this plus regulations will be the issue here.

I had a woman rider ask me if that was a dashcam in my front window I answered yes, she said she does not want her small child's face to be on that video. I said well I cannot stop the recording and if you wanna cancel you're more than welcome to do so. She got upset and cancelled. What I find it strange is that I picked her up from Dollar general store which has at least a dozen security cameras and her child's face was all over them. Did she complain to them about it?

Ghetto with belly dangling out of her crop top, and she tried to flirt with me when she got in the car, smh. I felt sorry for the kid being raised by such an individual. Car recording is the best way to protect yourself, most my riders who commented or asked about my dashcam agreed and thought it was a good idea. the only one who did not like it is this woman, and that's shady and tells you they must have bad intentions... like what happened to me once when a rider called Uber to tell them that I never went to pick her up, so they adjusted my fare to $0, and when I called them to get an explanation they told me why, so I simply told them I have her in video. They flagged her for fraud.
