It's a perfect case of elite projection. He doesn't maintain or even wash his own car, he has staff for that, so it doesn't matter to him that rain rusts it. It also looks like a 12 year old's drawing, which tells you about his maturity. Maturity is something you gain by overcoming challenges, which is impossible when you don't face any because you were born rich.

the funny thing also is that tesla could easily have designed and manufactured a normal, functioning car with the same aesthetic, but elon wanted it to be "innovative" and "disruptive". so, how do you construct a car differently than other manufacturers, that has been perfecting their designs in every single conceivable way for multiple decades? that's right, you try to reinvent the wheel and realize why no one has done what you have. because it's garbage 🤣

It does intimidate, in the way that even lightly colliding with one will probably kill us both. A pile of heavy stainless steel plates and flammable electronics that has no crumple zone, attached to a raised chassis with lights that'll blind me, most likely to be driven by a moron who has probably never operated any form of heavier/taller vehicle. Just saying, I'm probably getting decapitated by steel plating while the genius inside gets turned into a meat sack full of bone shards that gets lit on fire when the battery ruptures.
@Philip_Taylor

They will never legally roll down British roads because they are too big/wide and the design is lethal to anyone it touches. Who wouldn't want a razor sharp stainless steel tank, extra quiet due to its electric engine, flying through your narrow street? The single colour option (dull grey) was also a genius touch since it camouflages so well with our dark/rainy environment hahaha.

I like how this steel coffin is vulnerable to rain, sunlight, rugged terrain, the oils secreted from your palms, and mean words, but it will surely slice another car in half when the acceleration pedal which was affixed with glitter glue slides off and wedges itself, making the car plow through traffic, annihilating a family of four. Really, it’s durable and reliable where it matters, in inflicting harm to everyone outside the vehicle.

All US Presidents Related to this One King? | SELECTED or ELECTED? | reallygraceful (KZfaq) In a post-American revolution society, it would seem like the divine rights of kings would be a distant memory, but is the reality really so? Do certain bloodlines still hold power within our current government system? And if all US presidents are somehow united in blood, does that mean our leaders are really elected by the people? Or does that mean they’re selected by few? ---All of the US’s “elected” Presidents have been related to King John of England, descendant of Charlemagne. Only Gerald Ford, who was not “elected” into the Presidency, was not related to King John and Charlemagne. Charlemagne was crowned “Holy Roman Emperor” by Pope Leo III. Queen Elizabeth in the UK was (and King Charles is) also descended from Charlemagne. What is the “7 Mountains Mandate” (Dominionism/Dominion Theology)? Supposedly there are 7 “mountains” of global society-Arts and Entertainment, Education, Economy, Family, Government and Military, Media and Religion. As someone who was a fabricator, welder and now I am an engineer, and my speciality is stainless steel. The fact you get stainless steel to stain and corrode is quite easy. I wish people would realise that it is quite annoying material to deal with when it comes to visuals - there is a reason we add layer of chrome on the surface. Go get a fresh sheet of 316L and slap your sweatty greasy palm on it and leave it for few hours in sunlight. The only way that palm print is coming off is with pickling or electrochemical treatment (well obviously you can use abrasives to remove it... but you also literally remove quite bit of basematerial). This manufacturing genious didn't seems to bother consulting ANYONE with even basic experience in working with stainless steel materials.

The entire truck is a joke from a design standpoint, but one of the most egregious design failures is that the lightbar at the front isn't the headlights. Those are tucked up in the small gap above the bumper... the bar that lights up is just there for... looks I guess?
@hempelcx

There are regulations about what can constitute headlights and a light bar doesn't qualify. So, in order not to lose the look, they made the lightbar purely aesthetic. @@Zeroksas The only reason pick up trucks are sold so much in the USA is because the "light truck" tax is so low. Manfacturers pay less duty on them then charge customers more. It's a loophole that lets car makers sell you obnoxiously over sized vehicles (they're also exempt from some of the stricter emission requirements) that cost them like 5-10% more to manufacture than a regular sized vehicle, then charge you 70+% more, while having a vehicle that's actually pretty shit as an actual pick up truck and doesn't fit in most parking bays. The beds in modern trucks are smaller than their older models while the cab is bigger. Even on these gargantuan SUV's the internal space is actually pretty crap for something so large. It's just that every time one does, the press quickly picks it up and makes national news out of it, while regular cars just go unnoticed. If you just think about it: what's more likely to catch fire - a car that has a full storage of highly flammable liquid in it, transports said liquid through the whole car and then lights it on fire to produce energy or one that just has a battery pack? Their biggest problem is them not being sustainable enough to replace billions of cars we have on the globe. But "burning" - certainly not a problem.

Oh and they do have a high chance of fire in a bad accident, like the one the guy driving using driver assist, burned si bad the black box was lost. And when they catch, like any lithium battery, they dont go out. Plenty of videos in a quick google search. A tesla battery energy storage site here in Oz, caught fire, spewed dangerous smoke and burned for days. Wasnt even that big of a fire. Should you figure that into where you park it, no.
