@@Trust_but_Verify I am doing this purchase on my company as the benefits are pretty good, these benefits are only available for new models and sadly model X has been discontinued in the UK so I only have access to used models (I’m fine with this however I’d loose out on all the great company tax relief benefits) so the model Y is my best choice! Also if my budget stretched that extra 20k then the Audi RSQ8 would be on my radar 😂

@@Oliur dendrite forming battery degradation makes a small part of battery not recyclable. most electric battery are not being recycled, and they dont last as long as is apparent in low prices in used market for electric cars, lower driving range in higher mileage cars etc. combustion cars last as long as the metals dont rust, anti rust systems exist but arnt used, most combustion cars dont last as long as they could also because people dont change oil and oil every 5k miles and oil filter every other oil change (when its dirty). oil is recycled by us government , bio fuels, e fuels, hydrogen combustion, are all sustainable. current ev will rust and short circuit in wastelands under rain, moist air etc, they will not be recyclable even when they do somehow start recycling battery by weird materials science stuff without chemical side affects that would make such thing unworthy. if people really wanted to reduce emissions, they would use the limited battery supply to reduce emissions where they happen most, through all cars through all of time: in low speed high engine power situations, which is especially bad in traffic happening near people like crowds of people at sidewalk in a busy city street. normal hybrid cars already do this better than electric car approach, where you can make many hybrids out fo the same battery mass used to make 1 electric car. even better: have electrci assited turbo small single combustion chamber engine charging up pressurized liquid and or air and making electric energy with linear movement, the piston will be pushed back into place by hydrallic switch or something so combustion can push it to make energy , with something like linear electric actuator, which maybe similar to electric spinning motor then the power would be released as needed. they probably will need to use minimal amount of battery (assuming its meaningful to reduce emissions to such a extent). recycalable electric motor by mahle, but it needs transmission, subaru wrx high torque transmission, and toyota uses a first gear for high torque then continues the other gears with ContiniouslyVariableTransmission. such system will be easier to package than combustion and ready for switch out systems easier when a new technology becomes worthwhile, like maybe hydrogen combustion that isnt too hot so the only emissions is water or something, or electric hydrogen, or a proper electric car battery . consider tony heller suspicious observers, and tom nelson, etc in their takes on climate change... also see richard vobes on ulev expansion, romanian tvee video called why woke wont go broke, and see how they print money and give it to people like blackrock who can weaken people to make them easier to control fro power centralization, especially with printed money given my private corp called federal reserve, making money more abundant but it represents the same real wealth, causing everyones dollar to be worth less, whiel they have more... its stealing. blackrock promotes climate change narrative. they constantly get their predictions wrong, they apprently dont know what their talking about and i cant prove their narrative as even proabably correct either. they are taxing productivity and using climate change as a excuse to get ways to control people more in way that favors them at cost of us. look at hwo they put emissins laws retsirctions based on length and width of car but dont tax height, which makes cars unsafe in crash as i explain here, less areoydnamic, they tend to roll over more so less momentum preservation and less safe. they also set restriction based on engine size, which isnt fair because for eample, porsche used a bigger engine because it has less emissions per size than the samller engine which wouldve been less emissions. they also would tax weight of car, for reason i explained. theyd also not make it more difficult for small cars to meet emissiosn stansards, and not relax anti roll over standards and emissions standards for "suv" cars. but consider that burnt food feels bad like other things in nature that normally feel bad when harmful... similar to smelling smoking fumes like tobaco burning smoking fumes, such stuff causes cancer. such smoking wasnt seen as being so harmful until after so many people were moved to seed oils instead of natural fats as cooking oil stuff, which is known for causing health problems like cancer... and thats just 1 part of human health. so, you can argue its not all too meaningful to reduce emissions, but it definitely is better to lessen that stuff liek NOx, SO2, particulate matter (smoke), and heavy metal pariculate such as lead and arsenic, at least to some extent. maybe use CNG, LPG propane combustion.. more energy flow worsens battery degradation you can divide degradation across more battery cells to increase longevity, but the more you add , the exponentially more energy goes into and out the energy to move the car... because your not using all the energy stored in all that weight at a given average moment in driving, and the stuff is heavier per energy vs combustion. weight worsens natural wear damage of roads which costs resources and emissions to fix, heaviness makes car more damaging in car crash. making sructualy stronger part of sedan at same level of taller cars strong structure, protects upper part pf car (and people isnide it) safe from strong heavy parts of taller car, if the part in front of people is all fully crushed and tall car touches the people. nowdays is normally low to the ground to minimize tendency of car to roll over when turning quickly enough. sedan can rise quickly liek audi a8 air suspension, to get hit at a angle that minimizes damage, whiel keeeping car areodynamic and more able to preserve momentum around turns(not tending to roll over), while not being unsafe for non tall cars, by keeping weight low to ground. givign option to raise the car when user gets in, makes it easier for disabled old peopleto get into and out fo car and lift objects into car, by minimizing joign movement and msucle movement. it could give options to make ride less bumpy and stiffen up the ride to make it bumpy for preserving more momentum around turns by making it less tending to roll over. tires wear out emitting micro plastics that suppsoedly are endocrine disrupting, stuff goes into water supply food supply, similar situation with anti birth pill residue, etc, and its heavily petrol based. natural rubber from trees was used but gave far less grip, we could go back to using more of that with lighter weight cars, so less grip is used in dealing with weight, and more is used in gettting car to move and stop and preserve momentum for effiency and manual steering lotus elise style driving fun. rerember, this should be about lowering emissions of already sustinable types of combustion, not reducing combustion use. rear wheel drive means less regenerative braking, so less degradation, while making it lighter weight in rear mid engine sports car style weight distribution, for dividing weight across all the tires more equal, so front wheels dont get overwhelmed by too much weight and cause car to loose grip, rear wheels help handle more of the weight. same with not making outer wheels handle all the grip without as much help from inner wheels , when car is turning sideways and car is still tending to move in the direction it was moving when it was speeding in straight line. besides preventing traction loss for saftey, this also allows preserving car momentum around turns , so less use of regenerative braking (which is also not as energy preserving) , brakes, engine lubricant, combustion fuel, battery energy, etc, so more longveity of all those things . this would also decrease weight, so less road wear damage, less damaging in a crash.

Pro tips: -to set shown speed limit, you don't have to touch the speedlimit on the screen, just soft pull and hold the gear selector/autopilot stick for 2 seconds. - to disengage autopilot, soft push up the gear selector stick, instead of pressing the break pedal. Hold your foot over the acc-pedal to catch the regen braking from slowing the car. -if you only have the standard autopilot and want to change lanes, simply press the blinker in the direction, change lanes and activate autopilot again by double tapping. This will automaticly deativate the blinker. One movement less when driving. -keep charge between 40-65%. It will greatly improve battery health. Mine is 3 Years old, 70'000km and I have 2.1% degradation.

3 months for me. Love the car so far. First thing I noticed was how well it drove. When you turn, it turns with no weight or resistance. It drives quietly, but you hear every bump in the road. Love the quiet "space ship" hum of the motors. Love how the car can warm the interior while parked before you drive. Love the boom of the stereo. Wish there was a button for the lights and wipers. Takes me a while to find them while driving. EVs are new to me, so I want to stay positive and enjoy it. They'll be the norm in the future. Good to know there are many out there now with 100K miles and no real issues. Best car I've owned so far.

Lack of patience… And I absolutely LOVE the lack of buttons, dials, knobs, sliders, and all those silly doodads - and I’m an old guy! 😂 No way would I want Tesla to change that (as for everyone else, I don’t care - never buying one those old style cars!) Really cool wrap you have on that car. I may invest in one for my M3P myself. One year in and I still love my Model 3. I do share your complaints about the lack of physical buttons and the windshield wipers. And I wish the car was about a foot longer and the passenger compartment a touch lower to give it more of a sleek, aerodynamic sports car look and less of a hatchback look. But whenever I start to get down on my M3P, I find a spot where I can floor it and get that hit of adrenaline as it _teleports_ 100 feet forward. : )

Agree on all points, had my m3 for a month now and bought it used, so got a great deal on it. We dont have superchargers here, but there are plenty of fast chargers dotted around the country, so longer trips are no issue as well. A quick 15 minute stop and you're good to go. The savings are awesome, monthly basis I save around 400€ versus my previous diesel car. Several friends who I have shown the car are considering getting one as well. There is only one con to all of this, EV makes sense only when you have the possibility to charge at home or at work.

i would disagree with your last sentence. You can easily charge when you are going shopping for your daily food. A lot of supermarkets now have an option to charge while shop there. And thats with 300kw, so a fast charger. 20-30 min in the supermarket and your car is full. So you dont need to charge at home, even if its the best for the kwh/€ price.

No searching or eyes leaving road. Very fair video. TY. It cost me here in NY at $0.20/ kwh so that's about $8 US to "fill up" at home. It's much more at superchargers but still less than gas.

Also, touching on your thoughts on a heads up display, and I do think that is a missed opportunity, but I also recognize that it's not really necessary. And it also aligns with Tesla's mission When you make an EV with less parts, you can make them faster, and therefore more of them. It also costs less, and weighs less. Teslas Mission is to accelerate the worlds transition to sustainable transportation and energy, and the only way to do that is to get as many EVs on the road for as cheap as possible.

Bro, you did an excellent owner's review that is likely to help others make up their minds on whether to buy Tesla or some other brand of electric car.

I have the exact same model as you: M3 performance, gray, white interior, 3 years old. There aren't many of them on the road here in the U.S. either and I don't know why since it's such a great model.

Mine also now 3 Years in, 88k km on the clock. Front Suspension Bars were exchange under warenty, thats it, nothing else. My Cons: ride is to firm, i would prefer it a little bit more on the comfortable side, still some software issues with autopilot like slowing down in areas where it should'nt (Autobahn, 120km/h, Speed Sign correctly recognized but decelerating to 60km/h) and also to much warning beep when it thinks you cross a line. Other than that, best car ever, period! 🙂

Very nice video!! Your tesla is looking dope! Is the colour of your car the original grey or you did wrap it? I cant be sure.

I bought into the FSD 2020 MY, and let me tell you, I love it. The first year was rough, but over the years, updates made a tremendous improvement, and to be part of the experience has been phenomenal, to say the least. I've been using FSD from my house to work back and forth daily (approx. 140 miles round trip), and it's worth it. Every day I look forward to the next update feeling giddy about it every time.

Same here. Bought 2020MY with FSD. FSD make long road trip so much easier. I will buy FSD again if I ever need to upgrade my MY in the future.

A great summary for someone like myself considering buying a second hand EV and wanting to see what real world ownership is like - the telling comment for me is that you would buy another one again. My biggest attraction is not having to stomach the ridiculously high fuel costs currently, feel like I am doing my bit to move to a greener planet as well as moving to a company that is 100% about EV's they are not hedging their bets but I was worried about being an 'early adopter' and paying the price for it.

I enjoyed your video thank you for sharing... I have 2 Qs, How much did your wrap cost? How much would an extended warranty cost, and is that only for original owners or can you purchase that if you buy a used model 3 ?

Push the windscreen wiper button and then you can use the left scroll wheel on you steering wheel to go right or left. There you go, you've got your button control now :)

It's the automatic wiper function which has a mind of its own. I've had it go on in situations where i didn't see anything on the windscreen, in mid summer without any rain. Also, I've had it not do anything during a full blown rainstorm where i was waiting for it to go on but it just didn't. It's my only complaint about the car.

I've only had my model 3 almost a week now and its amazing, I got the long range model, mainly because I drive across the country frequently. I love it, before this I had a Peugeot e-208 GT, that was quick, this is much quicker.

Super review and very helpful as I'm currently looking at my first EV....but why are you changing tyres with a sow puncture? If they have loads of tread on them get a puncture repair!

I picked up my model 3 LR last Monday the 22nd ! My first electric car . There’s a few issues nothing major and it will get sorted , but I have been pleasantly delighted with the car . Actually I love it , and the cabin build quality as good if not better than any German car .

In the issues section. Yes the wipers sometimes have a mind of their own, but this, along with your dislike of the aircon not having physical buttons is easily sorted by using the excellent voice commands. My Model 3 is the only car thats come close to following vocal commands.
