I test drove one for an HR, it's honestly not a bad thing, can get used to it no problem

It is 75/78kwh not 70kwh (82 kwh gross) battery size. And there is a wiper button on steering wheel

A terrible implementation of driver-vehicle interaction, just because you can put features/functions on a touch screen, it doesn't mean you should, coupled to the generally poor quality software in these things I'm really not sure these things are safe enough to be on the road.

You don't know what you are talking about . You probably never driven one. Driver can use voice commands to do almost anything without touching the screen. They click voice command on the steering wheel and command the computer. From open glove box to setting temperature or seat cilmate control and fan speed to wipers and their sensing sensitivity, mirrors folding, opening frunk, opening and closing trunk and more. All Without using the lcd touch screen. Just by voice command. Works perfectly fine.

I can really tell how you have a deep level understanding and application of ISO 26262, 21434, SOTIF, HMI design, as well as the complexities of a GPU, its Firmware and Driver let alone the OS and Application stack, and how the graphics rendering pipeline generally works...I can also tell how you know so much about developing a complex software intensive system to mitigate and manage faults and how you develop high quality, safe, software. Oh wait, you don't. But that is the power of social media, everyone's an expert. Also, voice commands have been around for decades, that's nothing new or innovative.

I'm completely put off by everything being controlled through a tablet for important functions. If there is a software malfunction...I don't fancy being trapped inside the car...much less other safety issues...no thanks!!!I am not a Tesla fan!

It doesn’t malfunction to be honest. I have had one for 10k miles and no issues. I’d say try one and see.

Do you know: You can drive your car without any screen. And can control everything by mobile app. You will never be trapped

You can actually control most of the function using voice commands or even a menu shortcut on the left scroll why.
