I like the content, but the video did not have to be as long as it was. There were many repetitive parts. I believe it was created using the same AI used to great long written content, to maximize viewing time and exposure to commercials.

Hopefully covered under warranty. They will lease them for 200-300 a month. You have a personal assistant for 200-300 a month. It doesn’t get cheaper than that.

If someone is trying to attack us or our kids etc A tough guard bot would be a life saver, imagine if someone had a baby sitter bot wouldn't it be better if that bot could actually protect the children from people with bad intent? One saved life would make bots famous as being the most important gift to mankind. Would it not?

Or you "work it off now" by, idk, getting a job and saving the money and then buying one when they get released. If Elons usual trend of "not being able to keep up with deadlines" prevails, you won't see any robots leaving the facilities before 2028 anyway, so you still have >3 years to save up for a crap robot, brother.

Building different versions is no way to get the price down due to manufacturing complication, wont happen. Reduced degrees of freedom of gen III may be an option but likely wont reduce price by much.

An interesting concept could be that it is made mandatory for corporations to hire humanoid robots from real people in order to offset the loss of jobs. Each company could invest in robots and assign them to a former worker or a private owners robot gets hired. The cost of the robot in terms of purchase, maintanance and energy will be deducted from the revenue they generate and the revenue is greately reduced to actually make them profitable for the company, while the owner gets the rest after taxes. This way labor cost goes down while robot owners generate passive income.

Humanoid robot is not a car and is not an ai. It's hardware challenge mainly. Humans never built flexible machines. Cars can only ride, vacuum cleaners can only clean, phones can only... (you think they can do a lot? In mechanical tasks they are as good as 100 years ago). Watching this movie, it seems to prove that having handy humanoid robot next year is a fairy tale. Hiring and exploiting human being will be still cheaper.

AIbots are going to be a boon for small businesses by giving us labor without the drama of employees. Just like the tractor, thresher and other machines did for farming. I will take three at the quoted price. Lots of simple jobs on my farm and butcher shop that they could already do. AIbots, pitchforks, chainsaws & knives - what could go wrong? 😅
