He is DEFINITELY saying “a thousand times” after she “proposes”. This is because of a line from the movie “Pride and Prejudice”. When Jane accepts a marriage proposal from Mr. Bingley, she says to him, “Yes! A thousand times yes!” This is one of Tessa’s favourite movies. She may have even made him watch it with her which wouldn’t have been too hard, I think because he has admitted he is a sucker for romantic comedies.

That was such a hilarious interlude from beginning to end. Scott has such a great sense of humour and it was such a surprise to see that Tessa also has a lovely sense of humour too and great comedic timing. What a pair of lovely people. I am glad they are best friends for life. They are so fortunate to have found each other.

Clearly caught off guard - my heart goes out to a flustered, rattled, blushing, fidgety Scott who is clearly out of his element in this moment. He could have said if he had a clear mind - "Are you available?" Or “ you must be talking to that guy over there”. Tessa - as he always puts it - saved his butt. He is very lucky that the audience was laughing too loud to hear what he said, rather soberly, into the microphone my best guess "Now's not the time". He keeps poking at the ant pile and now he got bit. 😉

Scott is definitely saying "Now's not the time!" right after Tessa fake proposes, and I want to thank you for providing solid evidence to verify this fact.
