Tessa and Scott what a lovely interview. It is refreshing to hear you both speak of the importance of therapy in a relationship. Whether business or personal, managing ones emotions can be a challenge. Talking about them with your partner, as you both so aptly describe, is paramount to the success of any relationship. The emotional intelligence that you both display is beautiful, and it shows in the breathtaking performances you have given us throughout the years. Thank-you so much!

I love this interview and their candor about struggling after leaving competition to restructure their lives, and that they still work on their relationship. I absolutely adore hearing how much they champion each other in everything they do. Because I’ve seen a lot of comments online comparing their post amateur sport careers. Saying Tessa is abandoning Scott or Scott isn’t using his platform enough, but the fact is they’re figuring life out and doing what they love. And more importantly cheering each other on. Great partnership and friendship.

Two legend of the skating world. I wish them everlasting happiness, more blessings and more success will come their way now that they are having separate lives now. May they find partners who will love them dearly and I hope that they will never regret any decisions they made for themselves. Congrats and thank you for this legacy you've left. I think he really loves her, too, but something happened, and I think he's embarrassed he made a mistake and hurt her. It's like he can't look at her.

Except that Scott is her true love. You can tell that love he has for her. He looks so sad here. To me they just belong together, I don't know why they just can't see it.

You have been together for 21 years. For some people that is marriage. Perhaps, you will only keep finding your ultimate high in each other no one else it is called love. No one else will fill that for you but each other. That is how relationships work and you certainly seem to love working on your partnership. Looking at your career it is evident how much you adore being together with the hugs and kisses after competing and the adoration looks you give each other.

Well here it is....the beginning of the end for Tessa and Scott...I guess they were in a grieving process those last 2 years...trying to let go of each other and figuring out how to work individually. Good luck !

It has been reported that Scott is not a daddy of a baby girl. The fiancee gave birth around the beginning of the year. No wedding yet thought. So looks like this sage is not ending like we as fans had hoped. Fiancee is still living in Canada with him and she is working. Tessa seems to have moved on with a Maple Leaf's Hockey player living with him in Toronto Ca. The question is whether he will marry this woman or not remains to be seen. Tessa is visibly broken hearted more like crushed. Perhaps if S had just held off and waited a bit longer he and T could have worked things out. It is reported they are not even talking to each other. So sad. Looks like the love fairy tale is over.

When we see in the various public performances and joint interviews of Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir the expressions of affection, respect and admiration for each other, we thought "My God, how they love each other, and enjoy each other's company!" However, in this interview we see that Scott does not look at Tessa , and not interact with Tessa as he used to, a situation that must result from the fact that, at that time, Scott would have already concluded that a romantic relationship with Tessa would not happens, and he would already be in another romantic relationship. We don’t know what obstacles there may have to a loving relationship between Tessa and Scott, but one of them loves the other very much, and it seems to be Scott who loves Tessa , Scott who seems to be a lovely person. Sincere wishes for hope that Scott has a very happy marriage, and that his future wife can fill him emotionally. He deserves . It seems that in this case the following thought could be applied: "Sometimes, poorly thought out decisions, or slightly superficial ones, can lead to the loss of great opportunities in life". But, it is also likely that after so many years of relationship, one of them needed to move away from each other a little, and perhaps that was the case with Tessa.

My opinion is she is not into the relationship as much as he is. It is obvious that he cares a lot for her and their career and would love to open up into a more intimate relationship but she , on the other hand, seems distant and not as into the relationship as he is she is wanting to pursue her individual career which is all about her, her beauty and what she can accomplish which does not include him. He wants to give back to future olympians perhaps in the coaching arena not sure she wants this.

Yessssss Exaaaaactly, he was always talking about her with a lot of emotions and passion, but she's always cold and her words are not deep at all, so he should move on, he should definitely move on.

I agree they are not junior high kids just figuring out life. They are, well by now, 31 and 30 consenting adults. By this time life and relationships should pretty much be figured out and handled in a mature adult way. So sad because women are turned on by touch and after all of their skating events the touching, hugging and kissing each other one if not both should have gotten a message and if it was just a show for the cameras just to get fans or for the camera well that is a dangerous game playing with their emotions just to win a gold medal. I am a female and if Scott loved on me, held my hand kissed me not to mention the tender hugging before the skate and the chemistry I would be head over heels in love. I feel if they don't know by now after 21 years of skating together, working with therapists and psychologist on their relationship, I don't see it going anywhere at least with them ending this together. A business relationship married to other people perhaps but I don't see that going over well with the other spouses because these two are soul mates for sure. If their skating partnership ended after the Olympics 2018, then end friends and pursue other horizons. They keep admitting they care deeply about each other. Why even keep touring together????????? Just saying! Only they have the history together and can fill the void in each other. No one else can they did not live their story only they lived it. God bless them!

They should be proud of their partnership it was amazing what they have done. Tessa is perhaps a little too pretty and not too deep emotionally or philosophically Scott needs someone who is there for him number one all the time.His presentation as a male skater is outstanding and he has to do everything to make Tessa Virtue look her best all the time and he does that brilliantly and generously and his own strength for lifts ect is so well developed his movements on the ice are beautiful his body lines perfect.

IT HAS BEEN REPORTED THAT SCOTT IS A DAD OF A BABY GIRL WITH HIS FIANCEE. THE FAIRY TALE LOVE STORY IS OVER NO MORE FM. THIS EXPLAINS WHY THE FIANCEE HAS NOT BEEN ON SOCIAL MEDIA FOR 9 MONTHS. FANS NOW NEED TO MOVE ON SAD SO SAD.

What is this conversation saying? If it is so complicated go and date other people and find what you are looking for if you are not finding it in each other now that competition has ended. Are they trying to end this relationship and go separate ways and neither one want to end it or can't. Scott seems very distant and edgy. He said when they come back together it is fun he did not say it is awesome and they can't wait to get back together. He says it is complicated however if or when you really love a person it is not complicated you can't wait to be together sounds like a breakup and going our separate ways to me.

@@judibascomb427 Yes it certainly seems that is what has happened. He ended up getting engaged to what he said was is first skate partner when he announced his new fiancee at the Walk of Fame celebration and broke T's heart. Fast forward T ended up dating a hockey player for the Maple Leafs Hockey team since this video in 2018-2019. Fast forward S was to get married July 25, 2020 that did not happen because of Covid which is what was reported. Fast forward in an interview S said the wedding is now postponed until next summer 2022. So not sure what is going on however in an interview with S recently he said he really misses T how he loves her and how he wants to get her back on the ice coaching. T in an interview just recently said how she misses S and that they do really love each other and if she ever coached she would need S by her side. S has announced that he is opening up a Ice Dancing Academy where he, along with other coaches, want to teach ice dancing and hope to get ice skaters from all over the world. Maybe there is a place for T maybe there is something in the making. It is reported they are in communication with each other they have been talking finally so there seems to be some sort of reconciliation. However, we still have the fiancee who is still living with S and shows no signs of leaving him. Until she leaves him of he ends the engagement I don't see T joining him to coach she would not get in between. So here we are who knows how it will end but they talk very fondly about each other in all their interviews. Maybe time has healed all or most of the wounds maybe S see that he reacted wrongly and rushed into the engagement too soon because he was mad. It has been said that he did ask T to take the relationship to another level in 2018 right after the PYC Olympics, perhaps marriage, and she asked him to wait until she got her MBA degree (which she is done this fall she will have completed the course) she ashed him to wait and she would open herself up to another level of dating and see where the relationship would go. He got angry left rushed into the engagement and the rest is history. Now maybe after 3 years we have a reconciliation but fiancee and hockey player are in the way. Who knows only time will tell.

@@nicole4659 Yes time heals all wounds. T's wound is deep very deep. S really needs to apologize to T he crushed her so weather he will or has remains to be seen. T will never do anything to upset his future plans with the fiancee she is just a very kind forgiving soul but deep inside she is crushed. She shows it in her eyes she looks sad she is trying to move on but I can't imagine loving someone like she does S and having to let him go. Hopefully, S will realize his love for T is deep and he will make things right and fans will see them back together perhaps coaching together. It has been reported that S said he is trying to get T back in the rink on the ice. It has been reported that they are talking lately so maybe there has been some sort of reconciliation between them hopefully there has. Now that Scott has been made the new Head Coach of the I AM Skating Club in Southwestern Ontario he can bring T on as a coach which he did say he would leave the door open for her should she decide to join him. He really wants to work with her he said so if this is the case then the fiancee will need to go. T will never work with S as long as the fiancee/future wife is in the picture. She loves S too much to cause a problem. S always has and still loves T deeply it is very evident. I feel the fiancee was/is a temporary fix for S. He ran to the arms of this woman out of anger to get back at T because she asked him to wait she did not turn him down S took it as a turn down. You are very right, only time will tell. We can only hope.
