When I was 8 years old in 1974,my neighbor was selling a 55 for 140 dollars, i ask mom can you buy that car for me so I would have it when I grow up ,she said no son when you grow up there will be nicer cars modern, i still remember this car ,well I said to my self a few years ago, when I turn 55 I'll have a55 did not happen raising 3 kid's was not easy, then i turned 56 no car then i turned 57 no it did not happen either, now I'm 58 and loosing hope, but i raised a power plant mechanic, and two nurses, dame life is cruel, i know this video is about a camaro but i had to get this feeling out of me for the 10.000time I love your videos 😂😂

I hear you brother, 62 and still looking for my first C3. Going to be the first 80 year old who buys a ‘72 C3 one day and is buried in it the next day after dying a happy man behind the wheel. Ran into an old man a few years back at the doctor. Heard him coming first from blocks away. A Hellcat has a way of doing that. When the car pulled in the lot I expected a young lady or young man to get out. Instead a gray haired old man struggled to get out. I walked over and complimented him on the car and he was more than happy to tell me the story. I asked if he was going to pass his car to his next of kin. He said “Heck no! I’m going to be buried in it or go out with it.” I’m in no position to give advice, but I say we are going to have pull the trigger some day. I have a daughter that used to street race in her younger days and loves cars and am looking for a project for us and her son. Let’s keep those classic cars on the road and those “Chinese battery using piece of crap electric cars” on the car lots.✝️🇺🇸🫡

One of your nicest Camaros Nick! A lot to be said about the door jams and how nice the door closes.That color and those Cragers are perfect together. Spray chrome air filter= 25 visual additional HP’s.

Still a live at 55 and still a good looking lady. The gold color is a nice eye popper and makes it really stand out. With a little TLC you have one hell of a ride at 55. Not bad at all for a 68 GOLD Camaro.

I like the column shift and bench because they are different. 327 is a great engine. I understand the little things not working. After you have spent a lot of time building a car you just want to drive it. Everyone intends to fix the little stuff later. Seldom gets done. Nice car, won't last long.

I liked column shift for drag racing when using an auto Trans. It kept my hand nearest the steering wheel. Also added a sleeper stock look

If I had the money you would be writing "SOLD" on the windshield. Few little things that need fixing but a beautiful looking and sounding car. Looks good underneath and under hood. Novas are my favorite car but I like Camaros too.👍👍

What is not to like it about this motor. No computer, no sensors, easy access to alternator, water pump if needs to be replace. Heaven for a do it yourself.

Sounds strong! Overall, it is one of the better-looking Camaros on the channel. Makes me miss my 50th anniv that much more now being discontinued in 2024.

Beautiful Camaro. What's not to like? No sign of any real rust issues. Didn't see any patch panels. Chassis was spotless. Stainless steel headers and Cragers, even the mods are nice. If whoever is reading this wants this car, they better hurry. It will not last long.

That not a 68 ss they came only with a 4 speed or automatic on the floor I know I had 1 it was a 350 ss has all.matching numbers that's a clone sorry to say and the hood on that car mine had a raised hood with the 2 louvers on top of the hood that just a plane Jane it worth about 20 grand that's a guy that trying to rip you off sorry but it's a plane Jane too bad people that has a car lot do this to people plus my doors panels in side said ss inside even the steering wheel mine had on it ss on it nobody in there right mine would by it

Good looking Camaro. I'm not 100% sure but that rear spoiler looks larger than Chevrolet put on any Camaro pre 69. I could be wrong, I just don't remember any that tall on 67 and 68 models

No, It looks correct, although might be aftermarket? I had a 68 rs in H.S., didnt have rear spoiler so I put one on that I ordered from Classic Industries and so did my brother on his 69. The first gens spoilers are pretty much identical all three years. On the 2nd gens they had a lower sloped one piece and also a taller fin looking one with side pieces for rear qtrs

Always amazed me, people spend thousands but ignore these easy items. Wipers have a relay, a switch and a motor. You could replace all 3 in 45 minutes.
