My first car was a silver 1973 with the golden block rocket 350 with a few upgrades and I won some street races I even had a policeman pull me over so he could look at my engine and commented on how clean it was and how good it sounded thanks for posting 👍👍👍

Sinister looking. Of the Colonnade cars this is my favorite. I remember a (Motor Trend I think) mag article on the 73 H/O talking about the A/C. "You may as well be comfortable while blowing the doors off that Charger." I've never owned a '73 but did have a 72 H/O for a couple of years. Those four double nickels make some real muscle. Burning through first then catching second nicely was a blast. If I had the room, I'd be calling you.

My brother had this exact same car back in middle 90's!! Man oh man the memories this video brought back watching it!! Love those 73 Hurst olds!! The black and gold to me looked better than the white and gold. Also the shifter is known as a "dual gate shifter", or in the Olds world the "dual H gate shifter"! It is really fun shifting it on the performance side!! Also a GREAT video by the salesman!!! How ALL car lots should do it!!!

In 1979 I had the 1973 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442. Faded blue/white stripe. Loved the swivel seats. The 455 was a thirsty beast, loved the car, but I could not afford the upkeep at the time, needing break work, tires, and a serious tune up. Even then the car was fast. 110 felt like 60 LOL. seriously. I miss cars like these, and they are out of my price range. Hope the person who buys this will treasure it, pamper it, and have the money to keep her out of the junkyards.

This Olds 73 Hurst really tripped my trigger a pond seeing it, yes the body is in good shape and ready to be restored. For this is the heart beat of America from GM that I love to see. For the price is right at 19,900 K and if you put at lest 15k into it, you would have a car that is about 80 k and that leaves you with about a 45 k profit. For this car has that prehensile , meaning for grasping the idea. For I love seeing this car and is worth the asking price for sure.

73 was the last yr before emission control went crazy, 73 cut down on hp a little bit but the Hurst/Olds 455 was still pretty strong,nice survivor, beautiful Cutlass😊

You missed the teaching moment when you didn't use the gas cap to hold down the license plate. Up north it kept them fuel caps from getting snow in them.

Nice car Nick. My parents had a 73 Cutlass Supreme with that same 455 motor (special order, most came with the 350) and that car screamed and was so much fun to drive. It was comfortable and fast. When I saw how much fun you had with this one, it really brought me back. Cool car Nick. 👍

With 250hp in 73 it was good power back then, but with a few upgrades and desmog these olds 455 can be a screamer when you unleash that 500 ftlbs of torque... loved the swivel buckets.. That's a good platform for a restoration.. Good detailed video shows you exactly what your getting! Appreciated all the full detailed videos brother..

These cars were the bomb back then, introduced to provide the luxury that Mustangs & Camaros didn't have. They even provided some performance with a high-output big block motor and an upgraded transmission plus a Hurst shifter. It appears to be original, if the engine numbers match this could easily be a diamond in the rough with a little TLC.

Usually not a big fan of anything after 70-71 for these until like 78-79. But this one is sweet. so was the 79 I watched earlier. Olds had some of the best cars back in those days. Shame they ended how they did but 20 years of nothing memorable doesnt surprise me now. Congrats on the new addition to your family. I enjoy all the videos.

Oldsmobiles were known as the gentleman's hot rod so they drove extremely well. I drove my 1970 442 to Panama City Beach Florida ⛱ several times and it was smooth as silk but hit like a sledge hammer 🔨

Great price! This was a limited special package with gold stripes, wheels and special vinyl top and opera window. Big block makes this a collectors bargain.👍👍

You definitely have many Very Nice cars, Some of the prices just feel really high. Definitely high top end retail. Brand new in 1973 it would be around 3,000, with 0 miles, adjusted for inflation it would be 19,000- 23000, but that's with 0 miles factory new, perfect condition, just saying, just conversation, not sure what the adjusted inflation for 65000 miles translates to, and how that translates in figuring value, I definitely stand to be educated, thinking of looking for an older car, just minus the emotion that often get figured into value of antiques.
