My mom has this exact same model, and she got it right when I got my permit. :D lmao she also had a 370z but she didn't let me drive that so I got to drive the range rover which was a awesome experience, Now I have my license and she never lets me drive it. haha

i get the feeling weather conditions or simply just being conservative had a lot to do with that figure cause real world testing puts the range rover and the range rover sport at 5.1 0-60 mph time. So this car isn't entirely slow. Plus it has a nicer interior then x5 m, it's also going to be a lot better in sand. Low Range makes a difference. Additionally the x5 m's awd is on road focused.

@abdoelfarhan yeah well the RR weight half a car more than all of those cars. Plus the new cayenne has dumped its low range gear box already so like the x5 its pretty much usless apart from going through deeper than average pot holes. The fastest toureg is about as fast the RR scharged. but most importantly if u want to go fast why the hell would u get an suv in the first place.

you do realize that color combo makes your RRSS a taxi cab in Dubai, Moscow and London. Unless you are a Rapper or Cab Driver get blue on tan.

A few years ago I wanted to trade in my BMW 330i for a 2008 RRS w/ 60,000 miles. Seller wanted only $24,900 for it so I was suspicious. It test drove fine but I noticed oil was leaking from the dirty engine bay. The service record showed it had ONE oil change under the 1st owner 3 years ago at the 8,000 mile interval. Second owner drove it 50,000 miles with no oil change. The NJ Dealership quoted me $759 + taxes for the oil change service out of warranty!

cmon-its just $800 dollars, no big deal in the grand scheme of things. For pete's sake, the car was worth at least $24k and you are whining about pocket change?

This is why they tell you NEVER buy one of these RRS second hand and out of warranty OR after they have been thru a bunch of owners. Chances are owners don't want to pay $800 for the oil change service out of warranty so they drive these RRS as long as they could before selling it to the next poor sap who will have a laundry list of oil and service neglect related issues to contend with. Even our tiny 6 cyl. 2012 C300 Benz cost $434 at the dealership for an oil change service out of warranty.
