The dual sealed beam headlight models definitely look better than the composites like this one has. The exception is lowriders built out of the composite headlights years always have a meaner and brighter look which vibes hella good. Mine's an '88, the classiest and most sinister combination of black, crimson and chrome that you ever did see. I also have a blue '87 that i got from my uncle with an buick 350 swap done by one of his buddies who had it before me.

+hernandezrivas That's true... But I tend to think of the '96 Fleetwoods as the last real Cadillacs. That was the last of the big rear drive, body on frame B-body cars. Everything changed drastically after that, even the Fleetwood name hasn't been used since.

brian ohio I didn't say anything about old technology. I'm talking about the character of the cars. No more soft, boulevard cruising suspensions that float going down the road. No more sofa-like split bench seating. No more column shifters, which I prefer. Those are some characteristics that were quite distinctive to American cars up into the first decade of the 2000s. Now all that seems dead and all the luxury cars are essentially mimicking one flavor of vehicle... a European flavor.

The CT6 was the car that COULD HAVE been, in spirit, the update to this car. Super smooth rude, pinky easy steering, smooth power. That is what this guy wants in a larger 4 door sedan. I don't need it to be a rocket ship that pulls1g or swerves through the cones like a Corvette or Ferrari. Give us the 4 tone horn too, please.

Pale I have to agree, I have a 16 CT6 which is on par with the best of Europe, and its quick, rides good, and is a beauty car inside, I too miss the original flavor of this era of Cadillac. I ve owned 15 Caddies, and enough the 1990s era the best, followed by my 16 CT6

The only modern Cadillac that's bigger and heavier is the Escalade, which is unfair since it's just an even more obnoxious Suburban, and this is a humble sedan. Made only to carry everyone in comfort and not draw attention like a peacock near bears.

I like the Brougham coupes which seem to be rare in this style. The Fleetwood coupe I have is nice too and has more power.

VinylToVideo I wanted the coupe, but was hard to get. I almost had a good one, but by the time i got to the guy who was selling it. Someone beat me too it. He was nice enough to let me know his coworker had the 4dr, which i bought from him.

The RWD coupe is hard to find, especially with the better 350 motor. I have the FWD version which in '91 was just the Fleetwood (no Brougham). Only 896 made of the one I have. I'm thinking of selling it but would like to park it also since it's so rare. Only 126,000 miles.
