This map is just slightly larger than The Crew Motorfest, but it's immensely more dense, more to explore, a whole lot more roads to drive on, actual places to visit, little controllable car functions... This os what TDU is all about

TDU are one of few games you can easily enjoy playing at slow pace, carefully, just cruising, it's amazing

True-Talk! I enjoyed driving around so much during the demo, I ended up covering 35% of the map available. Might be me, but I can swear the avatar and the vehicle handling Improved with each level. ✌️

@@BayAreaMike99 Some news said so. But its strange that they update this demo and fixed some bugs. But KT needs as much time and ressources as possible for the finished version in 3 months I think.

Hey I like those holograms looks cool 😂 but everything else you said I don’t know very subjective. Too many cut scenes becomes annoying mainly because technology has come so far where games don’t even need cutscenes. The only reason you see cutscenes in this old demo now is because the community asked for them the fake was originally supposed to be seamless. I seen the game without any cutscenes just seamless transitions. The only reason cutscenes were created is because of old tech it was for the wait time for the world to load up on the next level of a game. Now modern has no wait time you literally don’t need cutscenes they’re only there just to be there because people never seen games with out cutscenes don’t need them anymore. Now as for the clothing shop and clinics I agree they do need stand alone locations all around the map. The dealership look is subjective too bro you can’t just rearrange the entire game’s aesthetic for your own or a older game. Then would we be playing a new game or just the same old games but with modern tech let this game have its own look and identity while tastefully bringing small details from the older games. Futuristic also fits Hong Kong don’t forget that it’s not 2005 in Hawaii it’s 2024 in Hong Kong their technology and architecture is insane so are their dealerships very high end futuristic do your research on Hong Kong look at Ferrari and Lamborghini dealerships TDUSC are accurate. For the starter home already exists it’s your hotel room that’s why we already told the Devs we need more than just a hotel high rise condo. Now for the Ui and having dedicated gauges I did like it back in the old games but those games also weren’t completely online and stop being updated they would have to do that for every single new car they add to the game I said they should just give us custom gauges and I would be fine. The infotainment point I do agree it should at least show the gps. It’s literally on the minimap just put it on the infotainment screen I would like that if you want to turn off the HUD. The more I play this demo I’m starting to see pedestrians appear around the map. I know people were wondering if pedestrians were going to be in the game I’ve seen them appear now so it’s confirmed of course they wouldn’t load them in full blown on this demo but I’ve seen them now when I played last night.

@@redhunnid5142 Valid points of course. The game can have its own art direction and should have the " TDU- identity" with including many little details that celebrate cars. We see what KT Racing/ Nacon do with all the feedback the demo fires ack at them :) EDIT: You are right I spotted some static pedestrians now, do they patch this demo? because they definately where not there before...

I was also really hoping for the R34 😭 But yeah, I mean the Mustang has so many options packages in real life it's insane. It really is one of the most "optionable" cars on the market, which I think is awesome. I hope they do another conversion option like TDU1. Imagine if we could turn the Mustang into a Shelby GT500.

Wheels aren’t the best atm as you can’t adjust your settings but I’m hoping PC users can get one more rest before the game launches just to show they’ve made some impressive improvements all around. I’m not sure how fanatec settings are but regardless I don’t doubt at launch it’ll feel better and work for you

I have the GPRO Logitech wheel, which is on the expensive side to be honest hahaha, but if it’s you’re first wheel you can’t really go wrong with the G923 or G920, your other option is thrustmaster but of course I’m partnered with Logitech and I have a discount code lol, so it’s truly up to you. I’ve only ever had Logitech wheels and though I’ve tested others, I’ve been more fond of Logitech tbh, warranty and pricing helps with that.

I think it's LB on a controller and then some preset text, but it was only the demo, so might improve in the actual finished game. I communicated with at least one online player using this system. ✌️

This Mustang is the EU spec you can tell the difference with the clear taillights, and in EU the rule is your brake lights can’t also serve as your indicators, so EU doesn’t have dynamic taillights, but NA does.

Defo giving the feedback on that bro cus I agree. Not a fan of the 4 groups or the region lock. I thought of an alternative method that they can work on if the former isn’t able to be reworked. Make us a freeroam only mode where we can invite up to 12 or whatever many players the maximum is and let us freeroam together regardless of the region lock. That way there is a way we can all stay together. The reason for regional lock for competitiveness makes sense for ranked imo, but for freeroam and other races I’m not too sure. I’ll let them know though for sure!

⁠@@TheAlexVIIYes please let them know your rank shouldn’t effect who you cruise around with in a open lobby they need to separate that entirely it a be crazy if we could get up to 25-30 players in a open lobby just cruising let them know that it’s only currently one game on console that allows for 25 plus players to drive around a lobby cruising and it’s a game from PS3 which is GTA 5 if they get that many players it would be a huge plus so many players will want to play this game just from that aspect alone the player count it would separate them even more from the competition

@@TheAlexVII agree, i dislike this region lock so much, it doesnt make sense for a social game like tdu to restrict people like that. we should be able to play with friends from any region at least in free roam and normal races, i get if its restricted for ranked for competitiveness though.

@TheAlexVII One of my BEST friends is from England. I race with him on everything. I have friends in New Zealand, the UAE, the UK, Germany, Canada, and here in the US. A matter of fact, I introduced my friend from Washington State to my friend in New Zealand on TDU2 back in 2012, and he up and moved to New Zealand and they're together and married to this day. We all used to club race, cruise, do liveries, and hang together on TDU2 and have a 13+ year friendship stemming off of that game. Limiting us to inly being able to hang in groups of 4 will kill the game for us. Car culture, car meets, social gatherings, clubs & club racing are always better with more players. Limiting socialization and networking is killing modern racing games.

They have the august betas for console users, not sure if there’ll be anything beforehand though but it’ll be there before launch
