XF 18mm f/1.4 WR
XF 33mm f/1.4 WR
XF 56mm f/1.2 (Pre-WR)

Finally the XT5 is my next camera fujifilm nailed the colors this time this is exactly what I wanted please do more tests like this wow am blown away instant sub 🔥🔥🔥

I have a question: I record lengthy nature scenes (birds, squirrels etc) and need a camera that will record continuously for several hours. I currently use the Sony A6400 which will record for 10 hours straight on a 256GB Card and on A/C power. I would prefer to use my Fujifilm XT2 with unlimited A/C power via the battery grip, as it’s got much better quality but the video time limits make it impractical to press record every 30 minutes. I’ve heard that the XT5 has no video recording time limits (until battery exhausts or memory card fills up) but has no power grip to plug in a/c power. Can the xt5 connect to A/C power, enabling several continuous hours of recording footage? If not, can you recommend a camera (preferably from the fujifilm family) that can? Thank you.

Hey sorry I wish i can help respond to this but i'm not entirely sure on this. I also never trust makers' specs so would prefer to find real-world usage tests/experiences as well. Maybe try messaging some concert/event type shooters on IG that use fujifilm!

Love what Fuji is doing but they are still not there when it comes to video. I'm assuming it's the limitations of APS-C. But I am happy to see the improvements over the X-T4. I really hope Fuji makes a full frame camera soon. I think they could beat out Canon and Sony if they did.

I like what they’re doing too! The autofocus is not there but def feel color science and image quality and dynamic range is. I don’t think the sensor size has anything to do with it- Alexa 35 and the older mini are still as good as they get compared to full frame sensors or not

Did you felt any poor pixel clarity or blurry images on 4k 25-50p? I bought t5 too but mine has very blurry image on 4k 60p somehow…

Hi Dongjae. I was only able to test the pre-production model - but no i didn't have any issues with overly blurry images. Sounds like something is wrong maybe ? Sorry to hear :(

your bitrate might be low. set it to higher bitrate OR your lens was not in focus.

Nice! Which do you recommend to have next? i have the xf 18-55 but im looking to upgrade a lil more. 😲 but im undecided

i'm really a prime type of guy. and even when using zooms i prefer contant f/-stop through teh range. THAT said, i think teh 18-55 is a gem, i'd much rather run and gun w/ it than the much heavier 16-55. :) just my 2c though

@@gettriggered8404 i'm a noob at post production too! i just use the highest qualtiy settings possible in h264 in resolve. youtube will compress/kill it anyway haha

Hey I haven’t tried an A7iv before. But compared to my fx3 and r5 I’d say fujifilm has come a very long way very fast since the last generation. Would say it’s almost there, but still a step behind the accuracy/speed of the r5 or fx3. But that said, it’s barely behind. It’s good enough. But also, I dislike autofocus on all three anyway….

But for a simple video like this the AF locked on amazingly well (and fast) and I barely had any misses

@@TheLostKuma thanks! I’ve been looking to step down off of full frame and I love jpeg recipes too much to stay on Sony but I do get professional work with it so I might just end up getting both! Who knows haha.

thanks! nothing special here tbhonest, just shot the whole thing in 50p and put a 709 lut plus some touch up!

@@TheLostKuma After doing more research I think the x-t5 is the move because it also takes amazing pictures, especially with the "FujiFilm" look. By the way, can I use any lense for the x-t5?

@@Migi-eg2nm you'd have to use native fuji lenses, or adapt EF/PL/LPL/M glass! (or other dslr mounts)

I think the XT5 doesnt' do HQ in 50p, but i could be remmebering wrong. I was shooting on a pre-production xt5, and 99% sure i was using regular 4k!

Got it! Thanks for the quick reply. The footage still looks great. I heard there were some issues with the non 4khq crushing blacks.
