Hey ! I was recently sent a power bank from a company called Bluetti, they make a wide assortment of power bank stations for any of your needs. I tested their AC50s and gave it an honest review, I hope you like it.

Seeing that each of those Delta Pro power station can provide 3600 watts of power is truly astonishing. A lot of power in that portable unit.

Yeah man it's wild how much battery innovation has come. and you can get these banks which all link together to give you more power + longer life, it's really cool stuff.

Nice review, and interesting for some folks who could use this. It's basically a large battery bank to charge lightweight stuff (laptops, tablets, cell phones...), it's not going to run refrigerators, coffee makers, crock pots all day, etc.. I went online and looked for charging cycles to see how long it would last, and that spec wasn't listed. As a consumer, for $300, if the charging cycles lifespan are only around 300-500, it's not worth it to me... it'd be junk in a year or two. If the charging cycles are in the thousands, then this is game changer for family campers (I'm thinking mini-van full of kids camping with a popup camper at a campsite with no hook-up power relying on the Bluetti to power all of their devices), or outdoor enthusiasts using tablets, cell phones, and a Garmin inReach to keep charged up. It all comes down to paying for the power you need, and how many life cycles you'll get out of your investment, to decide which product is right for you. So far, I haven't bought any, but, I am intrigued where the industry is going and how it is developing. Your review keeps me looking at company websites for updates, and one day I'll probably make a purchase of these cool little power houses. Cheers! Pete - KI7LIL

Hey Pete !! Yeah man you're so right ! I didn't think of the charge cycles. I hope it's in the thousands haha yeah a battery pack like this could be really good for your style of camping with the Jeep, it would be nice to have one that would run a few small appliances, where this model can only really run your modem and a c-pap machine (not sure if I spelled that correct haha) anyway thanks for watching ! Cheers!

@@Maritimer Just got a video idea for you... check your crockpot power consumption and see if this little unit can power it for 6-8 hours... if so, then go camping and cook an amazing crockpot meal using it. Get to camp by 11am, start the crockpot, then finish the rest of setting up your campsite. By 6pm dinner should be done. Showoff crockpot cooking skills powered by this little unit. Then, start a campfire and enjoy a few brews in celebration. Cheers!

Hey man. Nice review! These power banks are super nice to have and convenient. I use smaller ones when I am camping, but this one would be perfect for car camping trips.

Hey Buddy ! yes exactly, having kids you know keeping them entertained is a big thing haha this power bank could help with that lol Yeah it's a bit too big for me to bring with me on the ATV but if I go car camping it would be perfect.

Seems like a real cool rig. Seems light enough to lug around compared to others I have seen that weight a bit. Good review.

@@Maritimer I have an old motomaster power pack for boosting dead batteries and it has a USB plug. we've used it during power outtages to get by with our small stuff, even to power our router at home with an inverter. Even in 2012 when we did Gaspesie, I had one connected to the Commander each day so it was charged for when we would camp every night they come a long ways in design since we had to redneck stuff together. :)

Think that powerbank would be great taking out when camping with your car/rv, and a bit too big for taking on our atv. But it do look great and will probably last for a long time giving you enough power for your phone etc.
@Maritimer
@Maritimer 2 жыл бұрын
Yes I agree 100%, I simply wouldnt have the room on my ATV to carry it, possibly on a SXS it would be OK. but my plans are to use this when car camping with the family and as a battery back up for home.

People spend so much money to install electrical parts and wiring in their off grid vehicles instead of considering a power bank. These power banks work great. Bluetti makes stonger ones at 700w-2000+w. The 2000w one can run a houses needs fridge, freezer etc...

Hey ! yes I know, if You know the channel "Chuck Porter" Everything outdoors - he's a Newfoundlander who just retired, sold his house and is building his dream cabin on a site where his old cottage was, but his plan is to use a big Bluetti power bank to power everything, solar to recharge everything and probably a generator as a back up. He has a great channel.

Thanks for the review but I did notice that the display does not indicate actual time of power left in the power station. It only battery has bars which will make you guess how long the power will actually last.
@Maritimer
@Maritimer 2 жыл бұрын
Yeah you're right ! I didn't think of that... BUT the only defence I could think in that is the battery life all depends on how much is drawing off those batteries.... unless it could measure the draw vs power left in the battery to give you a time...

I have been gathering my supplies for this upcoming spring. Can you please let me know more about the battery pack you carry on your atv? I have watched it before, but I can’t find it for anything. Thanks
@Maritimer
@Maritimer Жыл бұрын
Hey Kev ! I do not carry this on my ATV, it's much too large and takes up too much space. There are smaller battery packs that are much more portable, I use one to keep my GoPro charging while I'm not filming. I also use it to charge my phone. I bring a battery boost pack too, which I have a video on so I can jump start my machine if I were to leave the key on and drain the battery. that jumper pack is small, compact and works great, you can also use it to charge devices vis USB port.
