My P5 puts out 120bhp at the rear wheel. My neighbours love it when I fire her up. I always have a smile on my face after a ride…😁

That was my dream bike when I was a teenager. Particularly the Rob Muzzy/Scott Russell race bike.

Oh yeah ! We just watched a Muzzy tuned ZX7 auction on Iconic! Muzzy tuned bikes were around 190 hp!

i dont blame you for changing the oil. when i bought my 2019 zx14r it had 2100 miles on it and the dealer said they had just changed the oil. i changed it again at 4000 miles just for peace of mind. i need to buy more oil and another filter so ill be ready for the next one.

Hey, I'm not sure if you'll end up seeing this comment lol, but I bought a 2003 ZX-7R a little while back but could never get it to work, I've bought and replaced tons of different parts and spent countless hours fixing numerous issues with it, I fixed her up as much as I could, but I can't figure out how the fuel system works, which is why I'm commenting this. I took off some of the lines in order to replace other stuff in the bike but I can't find a good enough diagram to put them back together so now I don't know what goes where, I'm wondering if you could just take a video showing where it goes (just like, following the fuel lines from the gas tank to the cylinders ig?) so I can redo mine properly, cheers! (might seem like a stupid request but im young and have little to no experience working on these bikes)

Yeah I'll try to hunt down a video if we have one. So on your bike it goes from tank to the petcock, there will be 2 lines, one is "reserve" and one is "on". if you have not disassembled the entire fuel system I would start by finding the petcock and the lines that go to it, after you have found these lines or created a fuel line into the petcock you can add some fuel in a container and turn the key on, turning the key on will turn on the fuel pump, you should be able top hear it coming on, now if the line from the pump isn't connected to the carbs you should now be able to find it because fuel will have come out when you turned the pump on. Its a simple system. It goes TANK----->PETCOCK--------->FUEL FILTER--------->FUEL PUMP------->CARB. If you can identify these lines on the petcock. If you remove the fairings you can actually follow the lines to from the petcock to the pump etc. You can just lose all the California emission crap if you're in the USA, its a lot of lines and can be confusing when reassembly.

The first ZXR was the H1 and H2 (first hoover tube), the H1 came out in 1989. The K series was the single seat homologation model.. The J models ran after the H models.. Here in the UK the J1 was restricted to 100bhp. I think Kawasaki/Japan was trying to preempt government power restrictions. 💁🏻♂️ Nice to see some team green content 👌🏼
