I currently own and love Harley Davidson. I had other brands in the past and ended up with a Harley. However, paying 40K+ for a Harley, or any other motorcycle, is simply way too much.

I mean, take a special RGS/SGS and try to add CVO bling to it, you’ll be at or above the price. For me, my 21 SGS is plenty, love the CVO, but it isn’t practical to me. It’s also the Bugatti of Harley…

I rode that exact bike during the Harley demo days event near my house and I got to say it’s a gorgeous bike with the colors and paint quality being some of the best I’ve ever seen. However, I don’t believe the bike lives up to its $40,000 MSRP price tag (not to mention dealer fees or any other mark ups). It’s definitely a great bike but to me, no where near worth 40k.

Negotiated the dealership down to $38,000 (yes, contrary to what they tell you they WILL negotiate CVO prices) and was going to take advantage of the 1% financing deal they had on all touring bikes. Then I found out Harley doesn’t consider the CVO bikes touring. 🙄. They wanted to charge me 6% interest. HARD PASS. Every vehicle manufacturer has to have an expensive, top tier model. There are definitely buyers for that market, who want something more elite. You go over to Chevrolet and you can buy a Malibu, or you can walk over and shop for the new mid-engine Corvette. So, not every bike that Harley makes is a $45k CVO. (I don't know why I always have to expain this... but your KZfaq handle says it all. Hahahaha).

Top spec F150’s or trucks from any brand are 90k plus. Some even close to 110k.
