I agree 100%. One day I was listening to it and I actually thought to myself that this is one of the top 3 songs that I would play for somebody as a perfect representation of what I think true metal is, from start to finish.

Never even heard them referred to as a "Metallica clone"...first album was way more raw and aggressive and then their later albums were like polished master works!! IMHO the two bands can't nor could they ever be compared.

I guess testaments later albums (Souls of black and forward) but you just CANT consider The Legacy and The New Order "soft thrash"...and really they went back to a heavier style with Low. Really they went anti-Metallica because Metallica went soft and got softer...Testament went a little soft then back to being heavy thrash. Polished though they may be. That long enough for ya?

Megadeth is a joke, period point blank. The only thing that Megadeth or Dave Mustaine did worth a shit is; A) Be somehow connected with Metallica, B) Hired Marty Friedman. Megadeth before and after Friedman = trash metal.

Testament, Overkill, Megadeth and Anthrax are my big four Slayer is too repetitive and Metallica... the first 5 Albums (Kill em All, Ride The Lightning, Master Of Puppets, And Justice For all and the Black Album) were killer but then they became meh

@@hellraiserde2276 Slayer's 1st 5 albums are far from repetitive lol and considered classics for a reason, there's a reason all of them are in the big 4 coz they were all the most distinctive thrash bands who created original and real classics in the 80s who inspired bands like Testament and other 2nd wave thrash bands. And Testament are just a more technical Metallica with poorer songwriting compared to them, not saying they are bad but they were not at the level with the other big 4 contemporaries in the 80s and being unoriginal at the same time. And if you are following the repetitive formula then all thrash bands are repetitive at some point, all of them have a set riff ythym formula, as does testament, as does megadeth and pretty much all thrash bands, most of Testament's songs have a very similar riff rythym pattern so by that logic they are repetitive as well. And Overkill were always way too unoriginal thieving riffs out of Metallica\Maiden and had poorer songwriting compared to all the other big 4 bands, I dont understand whats so special about them
