1.4 CVVT 109HP Kia Rio too much better than 1.4 D-CVVT /MPI any engine. at least 1.4 cvvt can reach 220km/h

I see that the tires on it are not very good, there is a lot of noise from the tires

I have ceed 1.4. Doesn't matter what tyres you have, the tyre-noise is the loudest in the Ceed. Poor soundisolation engineering is a disadvantage of this car. You can barely hear the wind, the engine, but the tyres. Low-noise tyres are a bit better, still terrible.

They already have, you can buy now (at least where I live) with 1.5 t-gdi and 1.5 t-gdi mhev

I think Hyundai is still planning to finish all stocks of conventional GDI engines before switching to dual port injection ones for all of its models in the European market.

id rather pay 30% more on gas rather than spend "saved" money on turbo, dmf, dpf and egr repairs!

for higher 150-190kmh speeds on this type of vehicles are best 2liter diesel engines from 140/150-190hp and cobsumption are from 6-8liters then

with this engine certainly not for autobahn and higher speeds!! most because of relative high consumption just like stonic which are terrible with that 1liter engine for higher speeds

For an entry-level wagon, this is still a good buy despite the engine is weak. It's good for drivers who are not confident with reliability of turbo engines or direct injection system.

@@Mr11ESSE111 As far as I know, the 1.4L engine is a multi point injection instead of GDI and the intake valves will be frequently "washed" or "cleaned" with the car's petrol to reduce carbon deposits. Older fuel injection technology is still good for markets where engine repair costs are more expensive and ppl have lower buying power to afford repair or maintenance of GDI engines.
