I didn't know sex was possible with both testicles removed. Thanks for sharing this info. A lot of young men can benefit from this.

I recently lost my left testicle to cancer chemo treatment looks very likely too but it's all curable with whatever is there. I do have that worry that it could always come back in my one remaining testicle but the doctors have told with confidence that it is a very slim chance of it happening again I got some sperm stored away but I have been a little embarrassed to ask how would affect my sex life but watching this video has given me some reassurance so thank you for sharing.

No worries, man!! The chances of getting it again as you said are very slim, but I have spoken to guys who had it in both, and was relieved to learn that even in that unlikely case, you can take regular testosterone gel or injection so the sex is still pretty much the same!

Man thanks so much for this video fortunately I didn’t have to go through any cancer but I’m so anxious that I will get it is it common and will I get it even if I have no triggers or symptoms

If you may, comment on how long approximately after the orchiectomy procedure will typical male be able to resume sex and have libido / desire.

From memory, two to three weeks! It doesn’t feel any different at all.

After my second surgery, rplnd, i have retrograde ejaculation, sex does not feel the same at climax anymore, maybe 30-40% weaker... and im glad i banked sperm because im infertile (even though i didnt have chemo or radiation)

I have lost mine too , due to cancer but also do have that worry and “urge” of checking my right testicle now at all times bc of fear of getting in other testicle are the chances slim to none? Im one week in recovery of my surgery but have not talked to doctor about that yet . Mine did not spread as of CT scan , I will bearly go to my Oncologist after urologist gave me the reference and read it was a Seminoma but it did not spread anywhere i believe it was confined to the testicle .

Sorry to hear you have to go through it!! The chances of getting it in the second testicle are very slim, but in your follow-ups they should be checking it anyway - which would be often enough for now, probably every three months? Hopefully it is confined to the testicle, but it's always good to keep following up with your urologist and ask them any questions that might be bothering you - it's what they are there for ;-))

One question i forgot to ask lol , after the oriechtomy is it normal to feel the sac where the damaged testicle was removed from like hard or very stiff ? I feel my left side of the sac now is like a ball hard type . Urologist said it was normal but just wanted to know if this was experienced from your side as well?

@@ul4975 Yes, definitely, I was freaking out until urologist told me it's blood that collects into hard mass to dissolve later... No worries it goes away!!

Dude, after I lost my left testicle, my right one was in pain a month after surgery. It's been over a year, and my right testicle still hurts. But it has been checked, and there's no cancer. How's your situation?

My husband had the second testicle removed twenty years ago from non Hodgkins cancer and he could no longer have sex. He did get erection a couple of times but climax was extremely painful and then he no longer even got erections. .

That's tough, Sue! I only know about testicular cancer side of things and I understand that those who could not create testosterone from having both testicles removed could have sex from using a testosterone gel or regular injection.
