You may need to check a few more things with each of these docks. I can confirm (just tested myself a moment ago) that the Insignia dock works fine for older Switch models. HOWEVER, on OLED models, the resolution is stuck in 480p. I'm not entirely sure why it does this (some people online speculated that the OLED model has a slightly different chipset that causes the incompatibility). But whatever the case, the Insignia will not produce a "pleasant" picture for the OLED Switch. With that said, I'm curious if this same issue appears on the other docks you've tested.

I have an insignia for backup and it still works! when I first got it Amazon sent me a used one that broke within a week... sent back and ordered brand new 3 years later works just fine

There needs to be a compliance standard mark that can be recognized for how the System requests it's power control. I remember a video of how those were poorly equipped for handling the system's power control and overloading a component on the switch. For like how the proper Docks switch from 5V to 15V. Still, I use one of the original switches without OLED. I was looking at ones that would also have the Ethernet built in too. But I've been waiting for a good review to look at safe docks.

I haven't used my Oled in docked mode since I've had it. But I love the look of the power bay. Would be sweet to be able to use my Wavebird on my Switch. But I pretty much stay in handheld mode.

thinking of buying that hyperkin one , love the N64 style design , i never use my original dock because i'm always afraid for scratches since i don't use screen protectors , this fixes that isue

I’m gonna stick with my original model for now. Unless I really want to upgrade I will. I will most likely get an OLED dock at some point.

I have a brook hdmi cable on the way but I just have a question. The adapter shows a max output of 12V but the original switch adapter is at 15V. Does it matter for tv mode in the long term? I understand that the switch requests for 15V output for the TV mode and would like to make sure it’s not a problem if I use it frequently as I travel a lot. Thanks!

Hey there Gary! I'm looking to pick up a small dock for my streaming setup. Out of these 14, do you have a favorite besides OEM? Looking for something cost effective, and just wondering if you have one you prefer.

I have that Insignia Dock and it would not work with my Switch oled. The sound was off and picture did not look quite right.
