omg, I purchased a sample/travel size of the Naked Sundays, and it is OUTSTANDING!!! Thick, creamy, moisturizing without being greasy, and the color is so neutral. Feels so good on my skin, I wish I could put it all over my body. Full size is on its way, thanks for the recommendation!!! 😎

Just FYI titanium dioxide is more complicated than that and cannot be generalized. It really depends on the size of the particle and other formulation elements such as what solvents and suspension ingredients are used and how they're dispersed. Pigmentary titanium dioxide actually offers good UVA1 and visible light protection especially in conjunction with iron oxides. LRP has tested the PPD of this tinted mineral sunscreen and it's in the 30s, so it would be PA++++ and is actually much higher than most pure zinc oxide sunscreens on the market. LRP is honestly at the forefront of sunscreen research and formulation.

As a woman of color with yellow undertones, Undefined R&R is almost perfect because the tint gives me a very natural glow. tip: shake well, & the skin should be 100% dry before applying & rub in well btw: the tinted ones are said to give blue light protection👍🏾

I bought the R&R sunscreen due to Angies video and absolutely love it, I am not a fan of foundation so most of the time my tinted sunscreen is sufficient for me:)

After watching this video I purchased the Ginger Armour sunscreen. I've used it for two days and I just had to tell you that I absolutely love it. For me, this is the best sunscreen ever. Everything you said about it is true for me as well and I love the very subtle glow and how well makeup goes on over it. I even feel like I need less makeup. And the ingredient list is very clean and impressive! Thank you for bringing this to our attention! Also, on their website it is on sale right now. I already ordered another one.😊

I so agree about the untinted. I am so cheap, i pay close attention to what you say about the protection they offer but would never buy that expensive of a tinted sunscreen. I'll always use untinted and put foundation over, or on a day when im home just use a good body sunscreen on my face as long as it gives good protection.

A great selection of sunscreens and I particularly like the look of the Ginger one - it's great to hear about new young disruptors, so to speak, who want to make a difference! Out of all the ones I tried last year, I still have some of the Bondi Sands and the Garnier at the lower end, and the Cerave. They are all good but the Bondi is a bit smelly 🙂. I'm a man 55 years old and I have just have no luck with mineral sunscreens....I also have dry skin like yours therefore I find , in general, mineral sunscreens too drying...the tinted ones are usually horrible!!!! Being a guy, I hate those orange tones!!! Anyway, I did have some success with the Naked Sunday' s one😊 There is another mineral tinted one that you might enjoy; the brand is called Epionce; it is fragrance free, essential oil free and no alcohol...you might like it....😅😅 Checking Claudia's choice next.... Just coming back to this yet again. I tried the color science non show mineral and love it. As I know I shouldn't I mix just a ditnif it with my DRMTLGY mineral that's a little too dark. And it works perfectly on my neck. Doesn't irritate it. Now I'm going to place an order for the Naked Sundays one. Hopefully it's not too thick after being used to the DRMTLGY mineral one but it's kind of thick as well. 🤞

I want to say that I LOVE the way you talk about the various sunscreens, how they look before going on, the consistency on and all the knowledge you give about the ingredients. I have permanent makeup eyebrows and liner, and am getting so much mixed information about what NOT to put on my permanent makeup to avoid fading. One is hyaluronic acid which is in some form in just about EVERY single sunscreen I have looked at. I'm told that it will fade permanent makeup, then told it won't because it doesn't cause any kind of regenerating of skin. Don't know what to believe. I look for physical without a big white cast because if I"m putting on my brows, I don't want white brows, so I need to rub in more. Then I'm told if you rub too much, you undo the "spf". So frustrating.

My absolute favorite sunscreen under makeup is Exuviance Skincaring BB fluid spf 50 pa++++ It is hard to find at the moment but dries down to the perfect finish.

I am really enjoying the new Colorscience No Show sunscreen when I want to wear foundation. It dries down very nicely with no white caste. When I want to get out the door quick, I love Revision Skincare Intellishade TruPhysical SPF 45. I have light/medium skin with a warm undertone and the peachy tint works great for me. It gives enough coverage and has skincare ingredients, so it serves as my foundation. I always use an untinted sunscreen on my neck.

Once again, you do one of the best reviews because of all the additional information that you offer. Your videos are so educational. In spite of all the new items you've reviewed, I will probably still stick with my Drmtlgy tinted and Can Make Mermaid Skin sunscreens, which by the way, I came to know thanks to your videos! I like the white cast on myself especially with my super dry skin, but I also like tinted as in Conscience Flex that I have been using. I was impressed with all the brands you demonstrated here. So many to try now. The Ginger Amour sounds great and the Naked Sunday. I was wondering if I should look for one that has a high amount of zinc? It seems like more than one or two pumps would be too much product to apply on the face for any sunscreen. But you're the expert I trust.

You are so patient to experiment with all these options. I have the DRMTLGY Universal Tint, but it is not a flattering shade and it makes me look and feel greasy. Really disappointing since I love so many of their skincare products. So far the Canmake Mermaid Gel is my favorite. Naturium just (I think) released a ++++ that looks interesting as it claims to be a lotion like consistency that easily absorbs and leaves a high shine dewy look. Not so sure I want that much shine. Have you tried it?

R&R just recently released 2 more shades for this sunscreen. They have now, light, medium (the original one) and a deep shade.

A great collab today! Have you tried ISDIN untinted yet? I am gradually ditching all my tinted SPF as they just make a mess on clothes, tissue (allergic rhinitis), etc.

You are the second person to like yhe Naked Sunday suncreen/primer for mature skin. I may have to try that. I now have the R&R serum and I'm not sure about it. I have been using elta MD UV clear, but no matter what i do it pills some. I was told by an esthetician that happens because using to much product/ products. But i will continue to use it.

I am like you and try many but always prefer my ColorScience classic. Makes my skin look great, great alone or with makeup.

I love the undefined R&R - it's the closest dupe I've found for the Tatcha Silk Sunscreen. HOWEVER, it contains rosemary, which irritates my sensitive skin.

Elta MD is still my favorite but maybe its time to try another one. I too see that Angie like the R and R maybe that will be my start. I will go see Claudia.

I recommend La Roche Posay Anthelios UVMUNE 400 Hydrating Suncream, it has exceptionally high UVA protection.🌞

Tamara you may want to try the La Roche Posay Uvamune 400. You can’t get in the US, I order it from Europe. But it’s so protective against uva. I have polymorphus light eruption and it’s the only spf I can wear without getting an eruption. I’ve been wearing upf clothing from head to toe for years but now I can lie at the pool or beach with just my bathing suit. It has been a life saver. Oddly it flares up my rosacea on my face, so I only use it on my body. But I don’t get the eruption on my face so I use Cetaphil spf on my face. Just a suggestion for you as it’s so protective from UVA. Thanks for the review!!

I have difficulty finding a sunscreen that works for me. There often seems to be something in the ones I’ve tried that just doesn’t work. None of the tinted ones are right (Lord, it’s hard enough to find a foundation much less a sunscreen tint). The only one I can rely on is the Canmake Mermaid Gel.

None compare to European sunscreen. So sad we cannot buy that level of sunscreen here.

The R &R felt moisturizing but ended up drying out my skin. I don't know how. Maybe it was some other ingredients 🤷

My favorite is pipette. I absolutely love it.

The drmtgy seemed very drying on me by the end of the day. I was so sad. But it was so drying!

I mix about 1/4 Paula’s Choice Super Light Daily Wrinkle Defense with 3/4 R&R to lighten the color. Would definitely use lighter shade R&R, if they made one. Also use DRMTLGY tinted physical regularly.

I am really liking the Beauty of Joseon sunscreen. Like you, am very fair skinned and just can’t find a tinted one the works on me.

I have the undefined R & R and my skin is very lite too but it still seems to work fine for me, you could probably add a few drops to a no tinted sunscreen and get it lighter too!

I recently repurchased the LP tinted mineral sunscreen, which I love, but just saw your comment about it not providing enough UVA protection. I also love the Undefined R & R sunscreen. I was thinking to combine the two. Do you think that would be a good idea?

Now I want to try the new color science, I think I will get it to mix with the medium flex which is to dark for me and also a little drying. But I have two of the non tinted drmtgy ones I need to find a place for. I also wonder if I can mix the non tinted color science wit the R&R to get a lighter shade and maybe not so drying. And naked Sundays sounds perfect. Do you like the Naked Sundays more than the drmtgy tinted mineral? We have similar skin though mine may be more sensitive.

Does the kosas one has a smell? It contains phenetyl alcohl which is a fragrant component and my last sunscreen with it had a really bad floral scent… 😬
