Plus, if you're strong enough to wrap a necklace around someone and then throw them with it, then you probably don't need the necklace to defend yourself anyways.

@MrEsphoenix Жыл бұрын
@@The_White No they didn't. Surface damage on a hard surface doesn't equate overall stropping power, especially against something made of flesh and wearing clothes. There's a reason you don't see any serous company selling self defence beads, there's simply not enough mass on them to cause any serious damage, it's poorly distributed, you need to land your hit accurately to do anything and you telegraph your hit so much since you need such a wind up to get any force out of them that even the slowest person will be able to react. All you'll do is piss someone off if you try to use them in self defence. Don't fall for gimmicks. If you genuinely want something for self defence go for one of the many proven weapons, not some internet tat.

That little baseball bat reminds me of my great-grandma's billy club. I think it was like an old table leg but it had a metal band around the top. But she kept her little club for possums that would sneak into her house from holes in the eves. She was a tiny little like 5 foot tall, 80 pound old lady but I believe she clubbed several varmints to death through the years. That'll probably upset someone but she lived through the great depression and the Port Chicago incident where she was working in a factory (the official story is, it was a munitions explosion but it was supposed to be a Japanese sneak attack) - but anyway, they just handled things differently.

The brass knuckle type things are meant to be held with the fingers between the dividers and for most people between their middle and ring fingers. It hurt because you had way too much of it in your palm, though I'm sure it won't be a whole lot more comfortable the other way. The smaller piece acts like a fist pack, similar to holding a bic lighter and the top lip is more meant for stability and small amount of protection for your fist.

Okay so the spikes for your boots are actually supposed to be used on a boot with laces and they actually work really well, if you get a pair that's slightly less bulky, they work better. Highly Impractical, however because unless you're working an active combat occupation and/or grappling people enough day to day that you need to ground and pound option, then you probably don't need them. But to their credit, when used properly, they DO work. Buddha Beads are a nice tool to keep on hand when knives and guns aren't an option and you like to stay ready, so you don't have to get ready. I keep a set in my truck and in my backpack for such occasions. Easily overlooked by anyone who's mind is not geared that way or at a glance

Biggest concern with that necklace is that while you're wearing it, that's a choking hazard. Same reason security guards wear clip on ties if they're wearing a tie. Seems like using a pull-to-open clip closure rather than having that as a solid loop would be a good idea. You'd still be able to whip someone with it, and if not at a long distance, without risking your own neck.

I’ve used Kuba Kickz before. They go in existing laces of a boot with laces. I’m a martial artist and it’s definitely a force multiplier if you’re familiar with kicking. It’s beneficial to have a thicker tongue on your boot or shoe also. Furthermore you don’t have to kick full power to cause significant damage. Mostly used for shin/leg kicks or groin.

@@Riley3999 if you're looking for something to bypass a law then get something designed by a proper company. If it isn't sold by a reputable company, or at least based on a design from one, then that's probably because it's useless junk sold to appeal to the tacticool crowd.

With Buddha beads, one of the selling points is supposed to be versatility of use. I always wear a stone bead necklace, because I can wrap it around my hand as an impromptu knuckle enhancer.

A small ultra bright flashlight with a thumb button on the other end is the best non-lethal self defense weapon. Light up dark areas, flash someone in the eyes and great for general purpose.

Tyler LOL 😂😂 Perhaps the self defense comes from your opponents hysterical laughter making them to weak to continue with the attack...
