Testing a Sony ICD-UX570 digital recorder and PYLE PDWM96 remote mic.

A quick audio test of a Sony ICD-UX570 digital recorder using my PYLE PDWM96 remote microphone. My camera does not have an external mic plug so this is the route I'm going to use to use a remote lapel microphone.

LOL both of us are using adapters that Pyle says “do not use” a lot of editors will have a multi camera sequence that will sequence it for you. You can get a clapper if you want, but I find clapping your hands works well. Just an FYI.. the Pyle sounds like it is only the left channel, and not stereo...

Well, that was easy. I went into my editor "PowerDirector" and found the auto sync which pops up automatically when you select two tracts by the way and clicked it. I also went into the audio editor and mixed the L and R into all L because yes the remote is left channel only so I'll do that in the future. I usually set here and watch vids with one side of my ear buds in the other one out so that I can also hear what's going on in the room so when only one channel is playing it's a pain for me. Thanks for the FY Eye.

for a split second it was stereo, but mostly just one side

Why does this machine only record on the left channel with an external mic?

Hey great video, I want to ask about the distance range without an external mic, how do you think will it go with my recording in a lecture class with no external mic and how good would it be when I record it on my pocket or just put on the table with me sitting on the back or front?

If you watch just a little of my latest video, the sound file was this recorder in the chest pocket of my bib overalls under my leather apron.

It really needs to be fairly close. But my mic cord will reach from my back pocket to my shirt collar just fine.

What's the maximum capacity of the external micro sd, I've searched it and it's 32 GB, is it the maximum or just suggestion of capacity?
