that was the reason,a stuck openthemmo; this time i also installed a 80ºC thermostat, AND i did it from underneath, took just 15 minutes; you need to remove the steel pipe,and then only the three 8mm head small bolts; the rest of the black plastic housing stays in place; just MAKE DOUBLE SURE you install the thermostat with the wax pellet,the spring,facing to the front of the engine,the RHS of the car,the timing belt side ,as cautionned in the video!!! doing it the other way around means SEVERE OVERHEATING, and possible engine good bye, since the thermostat WILL NOT OPEN, because it needs the hot water from the heater hoses flowing across its wax pellet to open, and this ONLY occurs when it is installed with the spring/wax pellet facing to the timing belt side..

We prefer to use original parts in this case and as in the video the thermostat was not at fault
